Spent the evening pimping t-shirts and other goodies for my friend's band. It was a productive evening. I can be pretty persuasive. :D
 
Hey all! Had a great weekend, now heading to some friends for deer burgers.... Never had them before, but I'm not skeered. Just checking in.
 
Hey y'all. Checking in and dang what a dead day at The Hole!

Worked a 9.5 hour shift today with a lunch. Very tough day. Gotta go check to see if my boy is actually napping. Cross your fingers for me. Daddy needs a nap, too!

You certainly have me beat. Just woke up from a nap and my boy is still taking his nap. He is so cute when he is asleep! Just checked on him. Seriously, where are you guys/gals?

No nap for me today. But I guess since I slept til 10, I didn't deserve one. :p I'm ready for bed already though.

Hey, cut me some slack...I went to bed an hour before you got up. And I wake up at 5 a.m. five days a week and don't get to bed til 10 or 11. :)
 
Not keen on Gotye. But to each their own.
I saw 3 movies today. Chimpanzee, The Lucky One and Hunger Games. All three made me cry at some point. But I enjoyed all of them.

Whew, hope they were comfy seats.

So chopped 33 seconds of my 5k time tonight. My wife bought me some of those funky reebok shoes. They didn't cause blisters like my other shoes did, so that's good. Also my knees feel a little better, but my calves are burning! I guess that is better though.
 
Very comfy seats. With a nice long break in between each.

Yay for new sneakers!! And congrats for shaving time off the 5k

Congrats! Nice run then huh? A friend of mine is training for a half marathon next month...and he keeps us updated on his times...since I can't run to the end of the block without collapsing!! I can hike all day...but no running for me....

Happy Sunday evening everyone! Was supposed to do house work and honey do list this weekend....nope.
Had some friends show up from out of town yesterday, as in SHOWED up at the door, convinced us to go out...got to bed at 1230 last night (my normal bedtime is 830pst) and up by 4am anyways...feeling mentally exhausted...they are some of the most loud, obnoxious, fun people to hang out with...every other year!!! Jk, love them to death, but I feel like I was hit by the beer/liquor truck....several times this weekend....I need a nap!!!
Back to normalish now they have gone home, but I think it was great to see them and have an adult weekend...which does not happen often.
Hope everyone has a great week!! And almost a new month....
