Help Forced Reboot fix?

Alsaces Daddy

Android Expert
Have we come up with a solid idea or fix for the forced reboots? Running stock b08c. Had the phone about a month now and its a daily occurrence.

Generally if it's software related I would start by changing to the stock launcher and see if that helps, you can try a factory reset too to see if it's software, if that doesn't fix it, my guess is it's hardware and you will need to talk with zte about sending it in for repair /replacement

They will likely have you use the zte software update tool to reload the stock setup, you could try that before you call too

How do you change the stock launcher? The SD card she has is the same one it came with. I was attempting to avoid the factory reset due to her already having it set up and the time it would take to do it all over again but I am willing to do whatever now.

I do know how to do a factory reset. Is there anything I need to know to do after that?

Go to the play store app and search for launcher, the most popular is the go launcher, I like the ics 4.0 launcher

Sent my phone to zte twice, after updating software twice. They just replaced phone. The rep told me somethjng about a hardware problem with the touchscreen. Who knows anymore..
