There is a 8x72 1.5 ghz dual core chip, but that doesn't mean there's gonna be an immediate release of a phone with that chip....the snapdragon chip was developed way before snapdragon devices were available....i highly doubt any 8x72 mobile phones will be out this year.

I agree with that notion.
 
I would really.. RREAAALLYY... Like a Windows mobile 7 phone.. But, I don't want to wait until late this year..

So a Win mobile 7 phone will have to be my next phone.

I would like to ask what reason you want mobile 7. Android is open, and as of right now more established than mobile 7. I'm not trying to be a dick but want your reasoning for wanting it.

I wonder how strong the dev community will be for the Incredible. Hopefully something close to the N1


edit: I love how we've pretty much gotten every important detail about the Incredible (to the point that, well, theres nothing else but the PHONE itself!) that our thread is now steering in all different kinds of directions.
 
Part of the reason is because i have an Xbox 360 and xbox live.

and with windows phone 7... I can play games on my phone with people that are on xbox live.
 
I'll take Google integration over MS integration. I don't have anything, to my knowledge, that is MS - with maybe a very old hotmail account that I don't use anymore.

I don't think you need a lot of development directed towards a specific phone. As long as you have an Android app, it should work over all Android phones. At worst, you would only need something directed towards Sense UI phones, but I doubt most apps will get deep enough for Sense UI to be a factor.

I'll try not to be an anti-xbox guy, but how many games are they gonna make xbox/winmo7 version games for....I doubt they're gonna put out a BioShock handheld version. I could be wrong, but I don't see the game studios investing much time integrating mobile versions of their games.

Yeah, I was thinking of things like Cyanogen Roms, but that'd kind of defeat the purpose of Sense.

I was thinking the exact same thing. He's coming out of left field with some of the things he has ask/said haha. I guess curiousity is cool though. But lets try to keep this on topic guys! Talking about Win7 in an Incredibles thread?! Thats as bad as talking about the iPhone:rolleyes:;)

I know, I was trying to think of any small question to ask stericson, but I didn't have any more questions, lol.

It's not going to be big games like Bioshock and Halo...

It will be Xbox live arcade games like Uno..

Lol yeah, same. But honestly, between Stericson and NKT, we have got this phone down to a science. It's just a waiting game now. (First time in a while I've felt like I comfortably know the general specs of the phone - whereas before we'd be constantly throwing rumors around or searching all over the internet to find any little morsel)

Edit: Doesn't help thatmost of the posters aren't on at this time, cause I remembered when NKT first posted a picture, it jumped 5 pages within a 30 min window

So I'm thinking tomorrow people are gonna wake up, and we're gonna actually be sleeping, and they'll be lost. hopefully some of the other regs read up, and realize what's going on.

When I found out that Verizon wasn't getting HTC desire I was kind of pissed.. Asking my self why Verizon cant get awesome phones..

Serious;y, Thank god this phone is coming out..
 
I've been following this whole thing since I saw a picture of the HTC Passion, which turned out to be the N1. The thing I don't think I've seen a question about though is haptic feedback. It's the ONE thing that my Dare has that I absolutely love. Is that something that comes standard on the Incredible, or something that is enabled?
