Charge it properly and you'll get much longer than that out of it. You drastically shorten the life of Lithium batteries if you do full charge/discharge cycles. The original battery in my Desire HD is still going strong after 18 months.![]()
Thanks for the advice and reassurance but I'm not sure what you mean by "charge it properly".
Unless you frequently top up during the day I would bet many people (myself included) start at about 08:00 with a battery at 100% and plug it in about 22:00 with the level getting very low.
This is normal usage not mis-usage.
After about a year the Desire battery was OK but a fresh battery made it like a new phone. I respectfully suggest that if you replaced the battery in your DHD you would be surprised how much it had deteriorated.
If/when I get my One X, a year down the road it would be a great shame if an otherwise superb phone in mint condition has sh*gged battery.
