Root [Boost Mobile] Hroark's Warp Kernel Source

I tried the ROM you posted, it booted, then i flashed the kernel and again not boot past green guy. not sure whats up, flashing back to stock using ZTE tool and rerooting and cwm to see what happens, I have the "older" warp.

i have posted every version of the rom that is available in my return to stock thread

the only thing is it restores stock recovery too, but you can replace the stock recovery.img with a CWM recovery.img
Ok i flashed back to b08 with, 11 oc,i was typing you something and phone froze, had to pull batt. Iam back using, 7 oc not sure but may be issue,my keyboard vibrates when pressing keys.didnt someone else mention that earlier?and i was saying that my laptop is being fixed for having a virus, but when i get it back i want to install linux and start learning some stuff,i already learned alot since having the warp, some of diff. Files and stuff, when the time comes i get my lap back, maybe i ll ask for a hand.-

stock b08c root with com, oc7 freezes, tried fix permissions, wiped cache and dalvik, freeze. I had vibrate freeze on once while typing. Back to non of 7 kernel, no issues everything looks good. I will try 11 oc next

Tried a stock restore and same thing, just sits on android guy. I give up lol. All i can think of is i have some diff hardware or something that the kernel does not like, oh well.

Maybe turn off vib on key press

B08c. Stock but rooted. Running. 7 OC now. I see a difference in the swiftness if the phone overall. I have wifi with no problems. Heptac keypress is off so no troubles there. Thanks hroark. Seems to be running moderately smooth. Only a couple freezes but quickly goes back to normal. We can call these hiccups. :)

i will continue to work with the compatibility of the OC with the diff. versions of android for this phone. Its only gonna get better. Please if you have a bug report post it in my thread so we can keep this one short and clean

it may be your boot loaders, one way to upgrade them would be to use FTM mode and the online update utlity

not sure if you want to try that or not, but it is a suggestion

edit :

never mind, i just seen your post about that

both me and Shinru, have encountered a situation where depending on which ramdisk we were using, it would work on his system and not mine and vice versa

this will have to be researched a bit more

hey spiyder

I have packed the same .7 16 OC zIamge with server ramdisks, and was wondering if you could test them to see if any of them boot your phone

edit: I have to re-create these

I just realized that all those file I just post have OC 18 that I was trying to get to work

they boot for me but the phone freezes after a while

I will re-create them with no OC, just so we can see if there are certain phone that work with certain ramdisks

alright here are the files for testing different ramdisk

this is for people who have flashed the other kernels and their phone did not boot

I just want to see if it is the ramdisk that is causing the phone not to boot

so I have packed the same .7 zImage (no OC) with the different version of the ramdisk

well they are still there, but they freeze for me, so 1.8 is too high

I am starting to think 1.6 is too high too

Tried bo8c-boot, same hang on android guy, will wait for the no oc versions and retest.

how long are waiting on the Android guy

because i notice it can take a while some times

can you try leaving it on the Android for up to 5 minutes to see if anything happens

ok, the b08c no oc version booted fine, booted right away! should I retry with the original 1.6 oc and let it go for a while and see if it boots?
