Root [Boost Mobile] Hroark's Warp Kernel Source

When i turn my phone on the whole screen is grey and fuzzy for about 5 secs.then it shows the boot images normally. And my phone gets real hot,even when im not doing alot on it,especially when it on the charger when im using it..what can i do?any advice would be appreciated.thx-mikegmoneythx-mikegmoney

did you flash one of the kernels (no OC) in this thread


if so did you have that problem before you flashed it ?

can you try leaving it on the Android for up to 5 minutes to see if anything happens

ok, bo8c no oc works fine. tried the original bo8c 1.6 oc and the bo8c 1.8 oc kernels, let them sit 10 min and no they did not boot.

well you did not tell me if you had the problem before you installed the kernel, so I am going to assume that you did


in that case you may want to contact ZTE for support, becuase you have a hardware issue

or you may try their FTM Only Update tool


or maybe you can try restoring a backup in CMW
 
Sry.no i did not have this problem b4 the flash.im runnin b08c..im still new to the whole kernal and build prop thing

tell me how you flashed it, and the name of the file you flashed


and I will tell you if you did it the right way
 
Cant recall the exact name.all i know that it says "2.6.35.7-perf+zte-kernal@Zdroid-SMT" under kernal version....like i said...im new to the whole kernal thing
 
I put the file on my sd,hooked it up to my comp,and ran the cwm run me bach. And when it went into recovery i did an install from sd.i prolly did it wrong..lol
 
Okay just wanna clear this up HROARKS KERNEL WAS NOT THE CAUSE OF WIFI ERROR! he did an amazing job in making it so props to hroark and as the looks of it my ROM will be back up running the kernel :)

As far as I am concerned my basic source for .7 and .11

is working fine with no issues at all


Shinru's OC still needs some fine tuning I think, I will leave that up to him


I should have not released the OC kernels today, I should have left that up to Shinru to do so

I disagree,iam glad you released them,now we know sooner that gheir is small bugs,and were all sure shinru will fix them thank you HROARK:thumbup:
 
If you are running a 1.8Ghz version.

I have tested the 1.8Ghz over clock and it is barely usable, I haven't tested the one hroark released, but I can't imagine it being any diff. Then mine, except my kernels support swap and memory compaction

Yea wanted to test,was going to use voltage control turn it down and slowly turn it up to freeze point,
 
Well i definatly see the differences in the.kernels for one i could never.play blood and.glory on stock and now i can do about 3 matches before it closes phone runs way smoother i must say this is a very.well put together kernel
 
Flashed .7 to my b08 and all good so far except for not being able to talk unless its on speaker phone.can't wait for a fix for that & stable overclock. You guys rock!

which .7 file did you flash ?

give me the exact file name
