Root [ROM][CM9 KANG][Alpha] Updated 3.5.5---6/27/12

na..the ROM shouldnt be doing anything to your 3g or wifi signal

now we do have a few small issues with the stock browser..it has some quirks..its kinda slow and laggy and the pinch and zoom seems to have trouble adjusting after a change..downloading large zips from the stock browser on the ROM can prove difficult..all the problems i am certain are issues with the browser..but could otherwise look like a signal issue
 
The Google Chrome is pretty awesome ! This rom has came so far in a short time. If it wasnt for the hard work from all of you guys I think I would have thrown my prevail away a long time ago. Anyway.... Thank you guys for everything you have done with this little phone !
 
nope not yett..i have been working on it every night..i had some ideas for what might be going on..i was telling Inigo about them..but nothing has panned out yet
 
Decided to flash this for the first time before I flashed over to 3.6 of CTmod. I might just end up staying on this though! Haha, great work on the ROM to everyone who helped!

Edit: Okay, the little battery icon in the statusbar wont change. It's stuck on an all white symbol of a battery.

Go to the app "reloaded ICS" and turn off themes

strange bro.

reloaded options definitely work for changing the battery icon..i myself always use the large percentage icon

havent had any issues with 3g at all..my phone isnt currently activated but im sure there isnt any issue with 3g

wifi i use on the phone 24/7 so im certain everything is good with that (except my phantom icon)

i would suggest you redownload and try again bro..sounds like your having sevral issues i havent come across myself

Inigo should be pleased with this news too

between work and life neither he or i have been able to get awhole lot done during the week..but Inigo is a freaking rockstar..glad you finnaly finished with your other work because we need all the help we can get to get this thing finished up
 
I have had the 3g issue as well. If I have connected to wifi then disconnect, the 3g takes a long time before connecting, if it does at all. Not sure as to why. And none of the toggles remedies the sutuation. But if I reboot, it connects no problem (until wifi connects, then the cycle repeats).

from what i can gather this is about where we are with the camera.
ICS Camera Driver Development

it may be an app causing your connectivity problems. i can switch from wifi to data without rebooting with the base rom installed. i have not installed any other apps. this is still considered alpha.

Yes that is very true with me as well. I believe we have found ourselves another bug:banghead:
 
will look into it

CM9 is still under heavy development..

i have had my phone activated on and off sevral times sense begining to work on CM9 and have never had signal issue with 3g or wifi.

keep in mind boost/sprint will be doing alot of changes to their network in the comint months

could explain the issues with alot of ppls 3g
