Help Thinking of buying the connect from amazon

Back when this phone came out I was very excited to get it but wanted to wait for the price to go down a bit. The phone is 299.99 on amazon. I have never have any trouble buying from them but because this is a phone do you guys think there will be any trouble activating it?. thanks.

It's easy. When I got my esteem I just dialed *228 from the new phone and change phone (forgot what the option was called) and it sent me to a representative which switch my service from my old phone to the new one

I did go to a metro store and they charged me $15 for switching phone which sucks.

Im not sure but a friend of mine just told me that he activated his boostmobile phone by calling and they didn't charge him anything. Don't know about metro though

at the walmart connection center or walmart.letstalk is selling the connect 4g for 248 exact i believe well not including tax.

i bought a lg connect 4g (metropcs) phone on letstalk.com. my card was charged and then i received an email saying my order needed to be verified. i called and they asked for my last 4 SSN...gave it...then he asks for my full SSN...i said i didn't know it (I do, though)

question...is it safe to give my full SSn to letstalk.com?

to approve my order, the CS says i will have to give the SSn
