I have rooted and unrooted a few times. So simple to do and I am not very good at rooting phones.

It is very easy. If you're new to rooting (and the seemingly wacky terminology) like I was, this may be helpful. I felt way more comfortable with rooting after reading it. Everyone in the "All Things Root" forum is very helpful and frinedly, too. At least in the Verizon section, I've never been to the Sprint side...

Check out this guide it will explain how to do it, however it says it is for Sprint but it will work with the GSM and VZW version. All you have to do is change the recovery image you flash. If you tell me what version you have I can get a recovery for you.
