I saw that too but I think it is just a coincidence. We are all very sick people looking for the cure a little too hard

Mykpfsu - You are right....I realized that was likely the case after posting. In fact, now that I think about it I think I even remember now having seen it posted on this forum a while back.
I'm at the point where I've read so many things in so many places that I am forgetting what I've already seen.
Oh well....one of these days let's hope they actually turn that into a link to purchase THE Incredible.

I am actually in Clarion County -- So, It's on-line for me or drive to Hermitage over in Mercer County. We don't have any Verizon stores for 100 miles around!

We'll see. I'm just taking the approach of that until I see a press release from Verizon I know nothing is launching. I don't care what the sprint employee in Verizon drag is typing or what was said from the dude that is friends with your brother's cousin-in-law. Me wanty press release.

Oh.....well mine is from Sept (09) and I am a selfish person so
All I have to say is June 2008...The Incredible cannot come soon enough!
Until the recent leaks, I was beginning to sway towards getting the N1 upon release, but the recent rumors have definitely got me back. I definitely owe that to NKT and Stericson, Thanks for bringing me back!

I think Verizon is trying to make me go crazy. I just a VZW text message that said Reday for a new phone? It has a number to call for more details. Maybe I can sneak out some info on the Incredible if I call.

While your at it ask for the combo to the vault door in Fort Knox, you'd might have better luck getting that out of a Verizon employee.
The good news is that the test phones have been sent back to Verizon(according to NKT's source).

Yep. And since they are branded as Verizon phones testing should be over with. Now time for HTC to crank up the production line.

I was wondering about this. If NKT and Stericson's sources just sent their phones back, how is it that HTC is shipping them already?
You know...it's funny. I'm reading this thread and starting to get jittery with anticipation. It's like I could totally lose my composure here waiting for this friggin phone! After waiting....I definitely don't want to show up at the store and have them be sold out!!!!!! Do you guys think they will take pre-orders? I would like to buy at my local Costco kiosk....but I think they will get the Incredible a few weeks after the corporate stores. (at least that's the way they got the Droid) I did plan to wait and see what everyone had to say...but i just don't know if I can do it anymore!
Testing may have been done before the phones had to be sent back. Maybe the source had already sent in their notes sometime beforehand. Also it may have just been network testing (as they were Verizon branded) and the assumption was all is well so a batch was ready to go. Of course thats IF they are shipping Incredibles. I still say that story should not be believed without some collaboration.
The Devour isn't even in VZW stores yet, as I understand, and imHo it is an inferior phone for little girls who are on facebook. I had my hands on it in the best buy store. I'm flaming the phone, now you, fyi.

I agree, unless they are truly not getting the iPhone. In that case they may slam and Say "iPhone killer" more so than Droid? Just saying....based on the specs, IMHO this is the actual killer.

i wouldn't worry about it. i dont think anyone had trouble getting the droid. there were about 7 people at the store where I live!
i'm buying online anyway... i hate mail in rebates.
