I don't know, I didn't make the rendering lol. I think the red will probably be on it, dunno about the speaker, but around the cam I'd say yes. The contoured back will most likely stay, but until you see it in person, we don't know how bad/good it will be. Being an iphone clone doesn't bother me. It's sleek and good looking. Nothing to crazy. To each his own tho!!

Yeah, I tend to agree with you by and large, but man did the red rendering made all the difference in the world to me. It made it look like an entirely different phone.

These weren't "done" for this forum or anything, so what you see is what's available. They are "originals"...not saying more on the topic.

However, someone with skills can take those and give us a number of other variants to consider.

Before this is misunderstood, i didn't add this from any "tip" or anything, simply at the request of another member. The nexus is considered the distant cousin of the Incredible so until we hear conclusively that it doesn't have one i'm leaving it as a possibility in the unconfirmed category.

However, if i've missed some news we've gotten that confirms one way or the other please let me know and i'll promptly update.

Can we stop with the Mod bashing/antagonizing - Please. We've already had 1 thread closed and a bunch of posts purged from this thread today.

I don't post much but I enjoy the news that come from these threads. Right or wrong - no one is going to win a discussion/argument with the Mods!

Please open a new thread if you want to discuss the Mods actions so that this thread does not get closed for those of us that enjoy the info this thread provides.
 
Hello everyone,

I've been following this thread for a while now and am eagerly following the HTC Incredible. I will be upgrading from a Razr V3 - so yeah, just a slight upgrade :D. I never felt their was a phone truly worthy of upgrading to...till now. Anyways, just saying hello and can't wait for this to be released!

I am sure there will be back covers you can buy to make it look as sick as you want!

It was just a rendering by someone... We are expecting the back to be black, but someone made a rendering of the phone with the red back (probably back when the backplate was thought to be red).
 
So I'm guessing with the recent news of ATTs' Nexus we can assume those shipments from HTC were in fact the Incredible? I ATT hasen't said jack about the Nexus so why would VZW? Here's to hoping.

I like that rendering then. It makes the phone look pretty hot!

Yes, correct, will be black. The red is a pre-production render of the phone. As you can see it also has the little android sticker (covering the carrier logo) and HTC Incredible on it which it won't have in the final release.

On a personal note, after seeing the red, i kinda like it in a weird circa 2005 Acer "Ferrari" laptop kind of way. I wouldn't want it every day, but i'm not gonna lie, i'd sport the carbon fiber red at times if I had it as an extra cover.
