I still like how ppl post comments like " It's just a phone Its not a big deal... I haven't lost any sleep over this" on the inside sprint blog.. They have obviously done some research and care enough to post on the blog about it.... One does not just simply come across the inside sprint now blog.. Lol its definetly an insider thing... If you asked the average sprint user what this blog was you would probably receive a face like this :confused:

For sure... I mean I'm sure every single person who preordered with them isn't into android like we are.. By that I mean willing to put in the research to find out what exactly is going on

Sorry, about that :( Should be up and running now. I had posted on YouTube before and never set to private. (Go figure!)

Sprint rep kept bringing out accessories for LTEVO, my head started to spin. Every accessories we have seen so far for LTEVO online, the Sprint rep kept piling up on the counter.
I was trying to video record it and nearly blew up my OG EVO. The more stuff Sprint rep brought out, the more people kept crowding around :p

I purchased the wireless hdmi kit, car dock. Sprint has a deal if buy two or more accessories get 20% off . The video just had some of cases, which some are pretty nice, screen protector.

I was just in shock, Sprint had all the LTEVO's accessories before launch. Hopefully means the real launch is not far behind. :D

EM did explain it with some class, and I just wanted to add another post script since i made the thread..

With the original EVO and the 3D, there was the "pre-release" thread, the " ooh i got my tracking number..." thread, and for the cats who ordered at a store, the "when are you going to be at the store.." threads...

no one is asking anyone to post up their actual track number, just "hey i got mine.."

its all in the spirit of fun. you do not have to play if you dont want to. :)

then there will be the "I have mine..." thread...

then the mod work starts because there will be a ton of posts and threads started up that will end up getting merged...

rinse, repeat for the next major flagship phone release...

ill see YOU in the "i got my track number..." thread... :D

Nope, nadda here :) IMHO, me thinks the Sprint online folks will feel da-lub first.
I'm actually rooting for them to get first notice/delivery (Day early or so) Reason being, Sprint said all along that those cats ;) would get some LTEVO lub before anyone else gets a peak :) I know some folks went that route in the hopes of getting first peek.

I am just fine knowing were getting it soon and the Apple dibacle didn't last months :D

When did he say that he was getting the "other" Otterbox's in I couldn't make it out?.... By other I assume he meant the defenders.. Since pink is only offered with the commuter
 
When I check my order on Sprint it still says it's being processed at the warehouse. Not the May 24th message many are getting. :-( But I'm guessing this is because I waited until the 14th to pre order.

lolz man they think we are bad here. I ventured over to XDA and it was a train wreck. Thread disaster in the highest form.

I still haven't gotten any update from RS. Not that I expected one. I'm just going to show up on the 24th and see if they have them. I fully do not expect a call until the afternoon they put them up for actual sale.

Also I went on the RS facebook page to comment and ask the question as well. One thing to remember is that RS probably does not run their own FB page...they more than likely have a third party ad agency running it. I hope not but that is more than likely the case. The person running probably does have direct contact with RS but I'm sure just gets the same news every other employee does unless there is a big disaster socially or PR wise. By the way this is one of the few things I am an actual expert on.

I will be doing the same @ BB :) I have a HDTV from BB that got a case of the black smoke/smudge disease on the screen. So, I am going to hold off swapping it out until the 24th and kill two birds with one stone :)

I think the whole Apple/HTC thing was train wreck. Honestly wasn't for the Mods keeping things groovy around here and cool cats for members :cool: . Situation could have derailed here just as easy IMHO :)

As mentioned previously, just glad were talking days and not months. :D Could you imagine what this place would be like if the wait took months :eek: Be more like that Ozzy song "Going off the rails, On a crazy train" :p
 
Thought, I would put together some AF lub :) By using my tired OG EVO to do a video Unboxing of LTEVO Media Link I picked up yesterday at the Sprint store. I thought it might make for cheap entertainment while were all waiting on confirmation/tracking #'s. First time doing a Unboxing vid, Plz be kind :p Strictly entertainment purposes. Poked a little fun about the Apple thing and made sure it be known the "LTEVO" moniker is a AF thing ;)

I didn't order mine until the 15th on the Sprint website so with the customs delay I didn't really expect I'd get mine as fast as people who had ordered on the first day but my order status on Sprint's site has the message about the 24th. Maybe it just takes a while for all the orders in the system to be updated, and I still don't have a tracking number so it doesn't really mean anything for me yet, anyway ;)
 
If the phones are at the warehouse per say, why not just ship them? They could have shipped them yesterday. I know we are frustrated. I wonder if someone calls Sprint and ask about the tracking number? We all want this phone. Sprint you have updated our status to on or around the 24th. Keep in mind this is a holiday weekend. Some of us are having our phones shipped to our work. Some businesses will close early on Friday and be closed on Monday and not open on the weekends.

Grrrrr lol
 
I pre-ordered mine from Amazon, and I got an email this morning saying my "free gift" micro-USB car charger has been delayed and to click a link to see the new delivery estimate. The free gift is something that I got for ordering the phone.

So when I click the link, it says the new delivery estimate for the charger is May 24th, but it continues to say the delivery estimate for the phone is July 5th. I would expect them to be delivered together though. Why would it give me a free gift for something that I haven't yet purchased?

So does anyone think this is a sign that it will be delivered for Amazon customers on May 24th? Or is this a sign that it'll be delayed?

I've been patient with all this.

I was on the Sprint site trying to get a look at accessories and the chat window popped up. I asked the status of my order. The response was they would begin shipping 5/23. I then asked if it would go UPS overnight like the order page states. The response was 2-5 business days. I sure hope not. It states right there on the order overnight delivery. If it happens that way, my patience will have run pretty darned thin by mid-week next week. Volatile in fact.

anyways all this looks like madness if you look at it from the outside. we should just forget about our new EVOs for few days and be pleasantly surprised when they arrive, no? Take that chill pill

Isn't the initial chat on Sprint automated? Cause every time I have gone its been the same name.

Relax dude, what you've been hearing has been the same line everyone's received since the dawn of time. They "promise" 3-5 business days so you won't cry to them if you receive the product in that time frame, but the vast majority, if not all, are delivered overnight.
