OK so here is my thoughts with the release announcement. I do not believe for a minute that the release of the N1 will be getting any news what so ever. Look at the N1 and AT&T today. No one heard any news of it yesterday and today....BAM, AT&T has the N1.

I also believe that the article that came out yesterday about the "N1 shipping to Verizon" IS actually the Incredible. I keep up on tech news daily, and I have been for a long time. I do not remember once hearing anything about the N1 being shipped to anywhere from anywhere when it was released for T Mobile.

Now since Google is handling the N1 release for Verizon (I do actually believe this), than what other news could there POSSIBLY be about next week and announcements? Or this week and HTC reps, or this week and "special behind closed doors and Verizon employee meetings?

All of the guessing and prognosticating on potential release dates, up until the actual release date, reminds me of the bloviating you hear in the pre-game studio shows before professional sporting events. We will not know, until we know. None of are truly privy to the decision-makers at VZW or HTC. (But its sure gets the heart racing.) :cool:

Anyone know how long it takes after a phone releases for accessories to come out like cases and larger batteries?

I know. The way I am with toys, is that if it comes out in June, I'll wait. If it comes out by the end of April, I'll get it, and sell my Droid, which will have more value in April than later in July

That is Exactly what I am saying! I don't think we will hear squat prior the N1 launch on Verizon. I am guessing any news that we hear right now IS all that is Incredible! :)

Looks like they are doing the DROID update. Maybe another 2.1 device is coming soon :) ala The Incredible!

All good. Just saying my upgrade has been up for weeks and a lot of people have been waiting months to use them. We want it now! :)

Wow, a lot of us seem to have birthday's today.

OT: I went up to my local store and pestered a rep there also. He looked up Incredible on his tablet and it showed about a paragraph of text, that I could not read, but he said he had no information on it. Then we googled the phone and he said that he was going to look into it, because he was curious now also and would give me a call if he finds anything. So.... very emotional day, but I do hope this releases much sooner than December!!!
 
No offense to VZW employees. ( I happen to work for Verizon not the wireless portion). I have yet to see any in store people that had a clue to what new things were coming. There is nothing wrong with that either. There job is to sell you what they got today not what they have 2 weeks from today. I hope the incredible comes out before may. Because that is when I will be putting some money down on the latest and greatest cell toy.
 
Anyone know the best screen protector for the N1? Might as well get mine on the way so I can slap it on the Incredible. I know I could go over the N1 forum and ask there but I just like you guys better.

I have seen it also 2 of them in the same day they are quite nice looking both were for tmobile.... almost didnt want to give them to the people who ordered them but figured i might as well since we dont get t mobile where i live

Aren't the NE2's only $50.....at least that's the discount it shows for me on VZW online.

Ya, he mentioned engadgt.

The two people I wanted to talk to(the manager and owner) were both busy with other clients that wanted whole business setups so I couldn't talk to them. I'm pretty sure I could have got some info from the the manager, if she had any, because I deal with her mother in my line of work.

not sure where you are but the local malls here in chandler, az have ghost armor kiosks. Best of the best ihmo
