I preordered on May 7th and still have yet to receive tracking number or any info saying mine has shipped. I have called a few times and been told that it is shipping today and I will receive it tomorrow. But if they know that I don't understand how they don't have a tracking number then.

I'm in the BB category, they've been good to me so far, so I owed it to them to order the El Tevo there. I'll be back in Pittsburgh on Friday, so I'll go pick mine up then. :D

To all those that have tracking numbers and eminent delivery tomorrow, Enjoy the splendid awesomeness!! Please remember to take it easy on the rest of us who haven't got it yet!! :)

I also wanted to personally thank the Early Mon and Marctronixx for being the most awesome doods and working their special mod magic on this pre-release / launch thread!! Yinz are the true AF rock stars!!! :D
 
BEST BUY UPDATE - I just got a voicemail from my local Best Buy (Sandy, UT). The girl said that they plan to have the phones in on Friday. She then went on to apologize profusely for the delay and that this has been a huge nightmare for them. She said that I will receive a call and/or email notifying me as to when I can come in to pick up the phone.

Yep, called my BB in Portland, OR. Kept telling me how LTEVO is delayed and they have no clue on launch date. My BB, no clue on # of LTEVO's shipped, No clue on a launch day, and was informed, even if I pre-ordered they will sell out on first come first serve basis.

I guess will be calling to lock down time when there going to let peeps come pick up pre_orders.
 
Well I'm heading out of town on Thursday which means that I won't be able to get my phone until Monday at the earliest...dang. Unless of course I can find a Best Buy or RS in Winston Salem that will sell one to me...and then I have a $50 gift card from RS. I probably won't be able to wait so I'll play it by ear on Friday morning.

Oh by the way, My Choice from UPS alerted me yesterday I would receive a package today even though through tracking numbers it said it would arrive tomorrow. Well it didn't get here today and tracking just updated that it made it to the state about 30 minutes ago. So don't trust My Choice...go with what the tracking says.

Something to keep in mind, however, is that my Best Buy was clueless when I called them last week about the May 23rd date that Best buy released. The actually stores could get the information much later than it's validated, so I'll stay optimistic. :)
 
Anyone notice how over all the twists and turns of the topics discussed in this thread, once the delay occurred there was never another mention of how odd this phone looks?

There really must be something to the whole 'hard to get' thing that makes someone/thing seem more desirable/attractive (not that the LTEvo isn't desirable for a myriad of other reasons, but looks certainly at the bottom of that list).

I actually hate the way the phone's back looks. I mean really ugly imo, lol. This is a non-issue for me since I'll have a case on it at all times and the front is gorgeous so it's not a big deal for me.
