As of tonight he said it wasn't on there night shipment and that they get 2 shipments a day aside from there big trucks on Mon and Thurs which don't have phones. I asked if it did come tomorrow could I come get it and he said they would work with me. I have to work at 2:30 in the afternoon so I would love to get there around 12 or 12:30 even 1:00 and get it before work. That would be so cool! Cause I am off Friday and have a couple appointments and if I get it tomorrow when I get off work I can come home and mess with it.

Yep that's what it says in the leaked doc.... As far as thier concerned the release dae was the 18th... So they are filling all the preorders that they can as soon as they arrive... But it does state that if there are any left over after preorders are filled at a certain location that they CANNOT sell them
 
They told us tonight they were not there but maybe they really got there on the night truck and weren't able to say. Either way I hope it comes on there am truck and not evening cause I work at 2:30. I want my phone around noon. I sold my 3D Sunday and I hate this Katana.

Unless of course I can find a Best Buy or RS in Winston Salem that will sell one to me...and then I have a $50 gift card from RS. I probably won't be able to wait so I'll play it by ear on Friday morning.

Oh by the way, My Choice from UPS alerted me yesterday I would receive a package today even though through tracking numbers it said it would arrive tomorrow. Well it didn't get here today and tracking just updated that it made it to the state about 30 minutes ago. So don't trust My Choice...go with what the tracking says.

I'm going to be late to the party. :)

I got a yard for my Evo, so I'll just wait for my June 1 to kick in, go to BB and be $50 out of pocket.

I'm hoping to get in on $45 early upgrade for WifelyMon, get hers through Sprint, and be $300 out of pocket for two.

That's the equivalent of two straight deals at BB, so I figured that would be fair enough. :)

So has anyone who preordered from BB (IN STORE) received an updated email? Not that I don't trust this leaked memo... but I preordered on the 7th, the very first preorder at my closest BB mobile and yesterday (mid-day before this memo possibly) a customer service rep who probably knew nothing completely told me a lie...

She said the phones are being delayed because they don't have an LTE tower up here yet... I live in Raleigh, NC.. we won't get LTE til the end of the year, MAYBE. I guess she just didn't know when they would fulfill preorders and decided to try to tell me something...

All she did was make me frustrated with BestBuy. Anyway back to my question, anyone who ordered from BestBuy actually receive any updated info in the form of an email?

You sound pretty confident that you are being "lied" to... can you explain why you feel that way?

She told me that the phone was delayed because the LTE towers aren't active in Raleigh yet. LTE towers (according to Sprint) won't be up in and active in Raleigh for months...

Hence, me saying I was lied to. That above is just incorrect information unless we're all about to get LTE. Am I missing something here?

Sorry if "lie" sounds harsh. I've worked retail. If I told a customer BS because I didn't know the answer to the question... that's a lie--to me.

I would say 99% of the time to never trust what any sales rep tells you when there is completely different info coming from sites like this. She has no idea what she is talking about. Sprint is launching the phone despite LTE coverage. Currently LTE is only in like one city.

I have not received any new emails from BB yet..... but I went there last night because I love going to BB. The Mobile manager is a friend of mine, he showed me the document that was posted last night. He also told me they don't have LTevo in stock yet.....but, unless something goes wrong, I can come in and pick mine up Thursday night. :driver:
