Reflash, same happened to me where i couldnt send picture messages. Just clear out sys & data format Cache and delvik then install, sign in google if you can and reboot into recovery, install MMs fix and then go back and mount system and data. If not mistaken i tried it in this order and it worked. i think most have mounted system and data then installed mms fix. or mount sys and data and then install mms fix. Try it and let me know what you get

Also can u make the flash work. Its iffy. Can u make it a zip.and keyboard has horrible predictive txt. I installed swype and i work for two secs and the itll stop and ill have to reset it up.youtube hq iffyy.nd usb reboots when i mount. Also i noticed that when i fully wipe and flash a new rom,the rom has np data but i can call and no web or wifi.I tried stock+++and it works but focecloses when i restore a couple apks. Kudos

yea I know theres still alot to work on with this. Ive been waiting for cm7 beta 3.
 
I really do not know why this happens. I think it has something to do with the english version of miui. This will never get fixed more then likey.

Upi forgot one thing on that list. You cant send a text message thats way to long. Its sends to the user but it in mumbo jumbo. Example is i were to basically test a huge message and when i go over character limit which then turns it into 2 messages, instead of it coming out with the ending "Hey we meeting up at the park bring your equipment for training" it would come out like this "!!41CFWE =4fr+)(((eR) VR%!$!3 +_*!_$*!_!( @)%*RF@" ill even text you to show you this error. its a bug with the sms/mms split that i think has to do with the mms fix, also happens with cm7 when the same fix is used.
look at your settings in the messaging app, esp the one that has to do with the sms/mms split. maybe check it opposite what it is, or just dont let the app split up/convert your message. i never let the app on any rom split it up for me, i just send it manually, thus avoiding it being converted to mms and either taking forever to send if not at all.

-Bo, how well does your gps work? esp on data? does your compass get a location? i found a few things about the data and area/location using cellmapper when comparing stock with miui and cm7 that might help data work 100% for alot of people

Baby J nice thought but in mms settings theres no option to split messages or anything like that. But that was a kick ass idea thanks. If you got anymore tips pelase let me know.

So.. For some reason, and i dont know if its just me but whenever i mount usb storage to a laptop it reboots my phone. is there a fix for this?

sorry i just saw this, ill let you know more when i have a little stronger info..right now im trying to work wrap my head around cm7, i think i have it deodexed and zipaligned, but i cant get the phone to boot up when i transfer the apks and jars. not sure what is wrong but im starting over from scratch tonite.
but i think the data stuff might have something to do with the mnc, mcc, and location codes? the mms fixes screw those up.
for gps i seemed to get a faster lock if i flash my stock++ nandroid, get a solid gps lock, then flash my cm7 or miui nandroid and open up gps. also i read that if you uncheck "allow mock locations" in in settings/applications/development that helps too i guess

Im thinking of building cm with reqs repo. who knows tho it might happen it might not.

hey so i installed ubuntu the other day and i noticed a few pages back you said you were running ubuntu and windows on the same machine, which is what im doing. is there a reason why ubuntu would be super slow compared to my windows?

as far as? sorry im learning as i go along here
right now im running windows 7 and ubuntu on my acer laptop, id like to set up my sdk, apktool, and everything else id need from scratch on ubuntu, right now i have so much much going on in windows its getting disorganized.
reccomendations?

I ment as in hardware like cpu ram ect. Also what version of Ubuntu did you install. Its weird that it would go slower. Ubuntu's desktop takes like half the ram as a windows desktop. Then again some mother boards are weird with Linux all together. My tower runs Linux slower then my mac book pro but has 2 times the ram and is about 900 mhz faster. Also i don't know if this is true but in my own experience SATA drives and SATA motherboards in general seems to make Ubuntu a bit screwy. One other thing, on some pcs you need to let Linux settle in a bit. Fresh installs need a min to get up to speed (same goes for any os for that matter)

intel atom 1.66ghz512 kb cache, i gave it 50 gigs of the drive, i have alot more to spare

i read that it doesnt require much so thats why eventually id like to dedicate the laptop to ubuntu only. i really like it so far tho. do you use virtualbox at all?
 
I flash amd let the cell still for the hole night and still error 492 when try to download anything from the google play market.
Any help?
