When i try to flash a froyo rom it flashes it, but has a black screen. I can feel the phone vibrate and stuff but no screen, I know i have the new screen (Hitachi) and I have flashed Picasticks' Kernel in the past... Anyway to flash a Froyo ROM?

Hmm picasticks kernel should do it.... You could try BobZhomes IHO kernel. It's mainly for IHO cm7 but will boot froyo as well since it's just a moded froyo kernel.

For the Froyo ROM's that don't use the Xionia kernel you can flash the pica07_remix kernel.
The Rodimus ROM, Harmonia, Resurrected Bumblebee, and the Harmonious Bumblebee ROM's can be flashed without the pica07_remix kernel; and can be found in the All Things Root Guide sticky. I think there are 2 more that can be flashed without it but can't remember which ones. Just look to see if they say what kernel they use, if it's the Xionia or the pica07_remix kernels your ok.

Andy, you know what would be a really nice addition to the All Things Root Guide? Along with the list of roms already in it, a list of recoveries that are supposed to be used with each rom.

I find that a lot (not all, just a lot) of rom posts do not include this information, and I always find myself wondering if I'm using the right recovery. Sure would be nice to have a list to fall back on!
