great use of the phone name!

that may get you some unwanted attention, if you know what I mean, tluv. Mods seem to mean business now.

Na tluv was just providing a picture of the model who will be featured in the upcoming incredible tv ads, isn't that right tluv?

I have a couple questions a bit off topic...I'm coming from a jailbroken iPhone and have a few questions about rooting.

1) Can you make custom wallpapers and icons for the browser and such without rooting?

2) I pretty decent with technology, I have jailbroken many phones and just wondering how complicated it is to root?

3) I know with my iPhone since it's jailbroken it likes to crash ALOT and I was just wondering how stable the Android phones are when they are rooted?

4) this is a dumb question but, does the Incredible have an ambient senor and a proximity sensor?

glad I got to see that before it gets censored into oblivion. btw, thats the background image I want on my incredible when I get it :)

If it comes down to it I get kicked out and I can still read the posts......I just cannot contribute so if it's anyone's loss it's www.androidforums.com not mine. Besides I am sure those are the best titties any of the Mods have seen in years.

Just offering my two-cents.

Training programs are forever lasting even when the phone isn't new. You can still get training on the WM Imagio (sp). I'm sure they'll training for a while after it is not the flagship device.

True... and from what I have heard a CSR is a high turnover career and the new csr replacements are going to need to be trained.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that (a) posting way off-topic, (b) with inappropriate material, and then (c) baiting the mods about it, is about the dumbest thing you could do right now. We all have the internet; if we want to see tits there are about 80 million other places for that. I, for one, would like to continue enjoying this thread about the HTC Incredible that's been graciously given a second chance. Don't ruin it for the rest of us.

You're right. Hold on, one hot male pic coming right up.

Let me just find my camera..

Cool it Jethro. Don't be douche.

I have a good feeling about 2 weeks from now! I feel like we've gotten some good information from different people.

That being said, I hope I'm not setting myself up for disappointment!

Your sense of humor needs a check up from the neck up. Chill.

My prediction is that the HTC Incredible will be released on April 5th. For the simple reason of that is the same day that The Kansas Jayhawks will win their 6th national title and that is INCREDIBLE!!! Rock Chalk!

ok... gnite kids. have more info about the incredible for me when I wake up tomorrow morning, k? :p

If Sprint actually launches the Supersonic next week that could actually be a catalyst to me switching. I would have to demo (like I would the Incredible) but something about Android 2.1 with Sense on a 4.3" screen really screams BUY ME. Especially with my company discount.

Oh yeah...and I am in a 4G city as well.

Me too! That's why I started posting in the HTC Incredible or HTC Supersonic forum. I never expected to see the Supersonic so soon. I must admit...spending all but 4 weeks a year in Austin is a compelling reason to consider an HTC phone on WiMax. Otherwise if I go to Verizon...it's the Incredible. It's feast or famine....but I will believe it when I see it. Just because they announce the phone at CTIA doesn't mean it will be here before my self imposed deadline of mid May. So while I'm talking about it...would anyone else here be shaken from their decision to go with the Incredible if they lived in an area where WiMax would be available? Btw...my service with Sprint has been fine....and I don't travel for work? Everyone here is sold on the Incredible...but just wonder if this might be a game changer for any of you?

It rocks on the Droid. Just don't like the Droid's form factor

I feel the same way. For me, the physical keyboard is redundant when you have that head turning AMOLED screen.

I desire the htc incredible and it's HD screen, it's a legend in the making.

Side Note.

Thanks to the MODS for letting us go a little off topic, since the return, and since we're keeping it civil.

I think the main thing for you will be timing. I think the Supersonic is still waiting to clear the FCC, right?

Either way, you have some great options. Both will be fantastic. It will probably come down to how it feels in your hand too. What's funny is that we went through a stage where the cool phones were the ones that got smaller and smaller. Now it seems the cool phones are the ones that are getting larger and larger.

Hiyas everyone! Lurkering for a couple weeks now, first time posting. Takes a while to get caught up when you take a few hour break But seriously, love the Incredible forum / thread, you guys provide some Incredible information. Thank you Phases for being so Incredible and recombining the threads. I've been looking for an Android device since before the Droid came out, just couldn't push myself to buy a Droid with a bunkass slide out keyboard. If I can't use a keyboard, I don't want it at all. When I first heard about the Incredible I was hooked, then the specs just kept getting better! Thanks to apang and all who are getting "solid" information. Looking forward to apang's spec sheet. Have a great night everyone! Fu#k Steve Jobs! Go Wings!

I didn't realize the Supersonic hadn't cleared their FCC filing yet. That's interesting.

Edit: I should have said, if this is true and people are anticipating a summer launch for this phone, that makes me feel better about the closer launching of the Incredible.
