I don't think the app will be preloaded, but I'm sure it'll be on the frontpage or something of the marketplace. It'll be a cinch to find and get!
I'm worried about not getting any news, either. BUT, HTC is the one saying they'll be announcing one handset; there's always a chance that #2 (Incredible) could be announced by VZW, not HTC.

I know what you mean, but verizon has been so tight lipped already and I'm more inclined to believe the mid-april release than april 1st. If I were to bet on it, I'd say verizon will announce the incredible a week or less before release in stores and it will be mid-april to early may.

The google voice app is there but unless you have a google voice account, its basically useless

Several people have said two weeks and I'm only speculating, but I believe it was NKT that first mentioned his source as saying mid-april.
that's the one stat left for us to find out. all we have are rumors.

Yes - but they were asking if its preloaded, which it is. Seems like most the people on here are getting invites so we should see a fair number being able to utilize the service.

Dreamwork's "How To Train A Dragon" Is a propaganda movie with the purpose to instruct one properly on using their snapdragon processor. The death thing looked a little grim there Mykpfsu, so I had to 180 it back to some euphoric delusions.

yea... i just got all my info from androidcentral and was hoping that the rumors were actually true... I gotta go back to my curve 8330 for the weeks i return my droid and wait for the incredible. The droid is great but the speed just isnt where i need it to be.. and having to use the BB again is gonna be a pain in the @ after using the faster android os.

A couple of rumors (that didn't originate from this forum) are adding up to a CTIA announcement for the Incredible. Just wanted to help calm those who have fears, that CTIA will come and go without any Incredible news.
1. HTC is shipping phones to Verizon
2. HTC confirms unnamed phone announcement
3. The Incredible has been in Verizon's inventory list since Late February
You can get three of them on ebay for around $2.50. Or 1 for $.99. Somebody has a buy 2 get one free deal. Use paypal and they will just email them to you.

1 and 3 don't really matter except to bolster the existence of the incredible and that it will be here soon. But what does soon mean. And like I said earlier, we know of several HTC phones coming soon and any one of them could be announced. I want to believe the incredible will be here in (less than) two weeks, but I'd rather be wrong about mid-april and no news at CTIA than have my dreams dashed and my world fall down around me while I contemplate harming myself (jk). Anyway, I would love any info from the sources we're waiting on.

Ya, but some people are really Jonesing for them or need them for business and Google isn't giving any more out at this time. I applied 3 months ago on 2 different Google accounts and have heard bubkis back.

I know of only two htc phones which haven't been officially announced (Incredible and Supersonic) and if Verizon is getting phone shipments, and it's been widely reported that Google is keeping their same distribution model for the VZW N1, they aren't gonna just order phone inventory and sit on them. Also, N1 has yet to show up in the VZW inventory according to our VZW moles, so it's more likely that the HTC shipment is Incredible than N1.
