Root More space possible?

When you install a rom, it has a gig of space for system apps and all of that stuff (I think)
Would it be possible to re-allocate some of that space for apps?
the current roms only fill up half of it at the most (Black Plague)
You could gain 300 some megs for more games. Possible or not?

Yea, I usually unzip (lol) it and delete any system apps and ringtones I don't use.
Ringtones take up quite a bit of space, I had brokenout down to around 100 megs.
 
I delete all ringtones except for the one I use. All apps I dont use. boot animation and ish like that.

Wait...I can delete the boot animation?? Just delete it simple as that? For some reason I thought it caused problems. Does this have to be done in the zip or can I delete it from an installation?

yes, you can delete the bootanimation ;)
 
You can either delete the bootanimation or you can keep it and disable it in the build prop, But yea I delete everything I dont use either, sounds, apps (especially all the Google calendar calendar sync apps. They run constantly)

Yea, I actually like the stock boot animation.
And I found out that it doesn't slow down the boot at all. (The stock one)
And I have alot of apps disabled at startup using rom toolbox pro
