extended battery 3850 vs 3900 mah

Although I don't own them personally, i have heard good things about the qcell.
I also know that ace batteries aren't bad either. Maybe go on price and what you think looks better for you considering that they are not too much different in battery output.

My opinion.

Ive heard that the 3900 isn't actually 3900 when u hook it up to a multimeter i have the qcell personally and i get like 2+ days from it with the broken out rom

I've also heard that the qcell 3850 was actually 2800 mah. What does the 3900 measure in mah

I've got the QCell 3850; and I can attest that this is probably true because it doesn't really hold up any better than my 2600 that I had in before it. The phone idle time is a lot better though, and the temp sensor in it actually works (first battery I've owned that did.)
On the 2600 idle I'd go from 100 to 35% in the four to six hours I sleep; whereas on the qcell I go from 100 to about 90 to 80% in that time, so it's got something in it keeping idle (screen off) times at a very minimal draw....which is great since I'm not using it, but in use I'd say it's no better. Could just be that it draws harder; not really sure.

the temp censor for your qcell works eh? my phone can get pretty hot at times and it never registers over 89F even when it feels like its about 100F.

65% loss of battery juice while sleeping? that is terrible. have you measured the true mah for your qcell battery or the 2600mah?

The 2600 is the one that metro sells at their stores that's like 30 bucks. I got mine for half off because I had to return the phone so many times while I was waiting on them to get the battery in stock.
I haven't measured the mah because I'm not sure what software would be able to do it.
As for the temp sensor, I know that it works, but I'm not sure what temp it caps at. Iv'e seen it fluctuate using battery monitor widget (which wouldn't record mah right for some reason.) But the highest I have seen it go was 32c which was the constant temp of the 2600.

actually i got around 4.5 hours of streaming video but there was probably 15 to 30 minutes between replay because the video was only a bit over 2 hours and i wasnt paying attention the first time it played

so you're getting a measurement of 1000 more mah than i am but around the same pperformance as my battery?

i'd have to conclude that you either messed with the update mah option in the app or the battery monitor widget just isnt accurate.

Go with QCell. I have had one for two days, and it is great. 50 mAh, even if it there, is not much. Based on the picture of that 3900 mAh battery from Amazon, it looks like Chinese junk that is unlikely to give your 3000 mAh.

I'm thinKing about getting a 1900mah., my old, phone had a 1750mah battery and I can deal written the battery life. I just want to still use my case for my lg connect.

I have heard that 1900 mAh aftermarket is crap and no better than the standard.

Tested it yesterday (1900) and got a couple hours more over all than standard. Gaming and streaming negate the advantage though and I'd estimate you might get up to an extra half hour or so. I don't game much so it's a guess on game time but I didn't have to charge my phone until about eleven and normally I NEED a charge by eight thirtyish - to nine.

Is that so? I guess it depends where you buy the battery from. I'm just worried about my, phone getting too big but maybe I may get used to it But idk :/

It probably does depend on where you buy it. Definitely, don't buy no-name cheap Chinese batteries online unless you can return it back at no loss. I bought an extended no-name 3600 mAh battery, and it lasted no more than the standard one. Luckily, I was able to return it at no cost due to Amazon.com awesome return policy (it was sold by some merchant at Amazon.com participating in Prime); I claimed it was defective. On Chinese wholesale websites, they sell these extended no-name batteries at $3-$5 a piece. No wonder must of these batteries are junk.

Makes sense, mine is directly out of an optimus and works fine, second day out and haven't charged it since 530am and haven't gotten lowbat warning

Yeah, brand-name ones are good. I bought my second extended battery by LG from Verizon on sale, and it works great. Qcell seems to be a very good battery as well though.

I bought the 3500mah China battery because it was only $8. The battery life is good but it's kinda hokey. Sometimes it will stop at 96% charge and I have to unplug it and plug it in again for it to fully charge.
