Root Cannot delete messages with go sms

I tried the delete all apps from the market which force close on me.. once I am sent a mms I can no longer delete that thread, I can however delete the messages one by one but not the mms in the thread. So now my delema is the threads are getting into the hundreds and I can't spend hours deleting these messages one by one. How can I get rid of these threads? Where are they stored on the phone so I can get rid of them?

Not sure I follow ya, but I'll try...these mms you speak of, are they pic's or attachments you are trying to get rid of?
 
Clear data from gosms? Delete them from messaging app?

Factory reset? For sure would do it.

I have never run into this problem. I do.t understand how people van let 10,000's of texts reside on the device without deleting them sooner.


The good news is you are rooted so flashing a Rom would always fix anything software related
 
The problem is none of that works. As soon as I restore go sms from titanium ( app only) it seems to restore the apps with SMS. And I always delete my threads as soon as I'm done with a conversation, but once a person. Has sent Me an mms it will no longer allow me to delete the thread. Wtf.
So what am I supposed to do everytime someone sends me an mms factory reset my phone flash a new rom and restore all my apps this is stupid. And everyother messaging app forces close when I try to delete one of these threads. Sorry if I'm not being clear here.
 
Could gosms have created some kind of folder on your sd card and it is reading those files once you restore the app? If so, delete the folder that is perhaps on sd card.
I dunno, just throwing an idea your way bro.
 
I know you said every other app fc's on you but what about the stock messaging app? Depending on what rom you are on, maybe update prl and profile update and see if the stock messaging app still fc's

I think GO SMS archives the texts and restores it automatically. Not 100% sure but I seem to recall it put all my texts back.

EDIT: they have a cloud service called GO SHARE now. This may or may not be the issue. I did not know about GO SHARE.

I haven't tried updating prl and profile, I'm on decks reloaded so I would have to download a sense rom and flash it then back up my current set-up (which I love btw).
