I didn't realize the Desire had tailed off so much. Its a testament to rooting that the forum is still open actually. Sometimes I miss the old crowd. :smokingsomb:
 
I pop in everyday still, though, like you said, it's pretty slow now and I get a bit bored of pointing to all things root :-P

I'm mainly just moving threads about.
 
Same thing happened to the og droid. One of the greatest android phones. Now laughed at dev wise. I got mine going at 1.2 gHz fast as hell

its only really MW that is keeping the show on the road - ive just moved on to mw ox4.1.3

SU - you got a sammy s3 by the looks of it - how you finding it? seemed pretty impressive in the store

I'm hovering but seldom post these days.

I've got a whopping 9 weeks before I get offered an upgrade - but my contract doesn't expire for a month after that. I'll see what they can offer me as far as the SGS3 is concerned. If it's no good, I'll shop around but I pretty much have my heart set on it now.

...but it still needed a custom rom?
 
dan55, how you finding mw? ive flashed it twice now and as soon as i select the sd-ext and data2sd it hangs, force closes and everything, i cant seem to get it to work, im on the cm7 r2 hboot, it looks awesome but it just doesnt want to play.
also does anyone else have any issues with titanium doing batch restores? i can guarantee it wont work! it will either do the first few apps then freeze or just freeze from the off!!

mw works very well for me. no issues at all. BUT I don't use apps to. I think there
have been issues with it according to the xda thread.
titanium works ok for me too

thanks Dan, its been a while since ive flashed anything, im on miui xj at the min but i fancied trying mw as it has good reviews. ill try again. cheers
 
Hey Dan,

Have you flashed/installed the fasterfix with MW as it implies in the XDA thread? Does it struggle getting a gps thread without it?
 
Hard to quantify. Similar ways to how sense differs from aosp.

You get to keep proprietory apps and functions
