I know I should take this up on the ROM's forums, but they're practically dead, so...
I've used Cyanogen Mod on my EVO since day 1, recently I had to do a factory reset because of a network issue (EVO lost 3G connectivity, had to update the profile) Now when I try to install CM it either (1) installs fine but lacks the "Phone" and "contacts" apps (though incomming calls still showed up - just no way to PLACE calls) or (2) worked fine till I installed Google Apps, then would boot up and in ~5 seconds return to the "booting Cyanogen mod" screen a few seconds, and return to 'fresh boot' status...
Also on the Stock Sprint ROM, WiFi fails to connect. it sees the network but always times out on "acquiring IP address"
While I managed to get it to work on a 3rd ROM (dont remember the name, but it's Sprint's rom with Sense ripped out) I've seen nothing about other ppl having problems with CM, and prior to the network update I didn't either, so I'm tempted to think it's my phone, not CM7 that's doing it...
