Hey all, since I have stopped using Virgin I decided that I would see how long the Triumph could actually go with out charging, while still using it.
My results were actually quite impressive (to me at least) The battery status up time said 331 hours and it was at 19% that is almost 2 full weeks with no charge. To get these results I did have data, wifi, blue tooth, and gps off.. but i used it every day to text people and make phone calls to people that didn't need to be bothered with my temporary number before I ported. This was while running on G60s CM7
So I really believe that the Triumphs battery is getting a bad rep for no reason... sure I had much of the functions on the phone off, but that is what makes your phone die so fast... I haven't seen any android device have a "long" lasting battery with any of those on constantly. My Razr gets the same battery life I was getting with the MT.
So lesson here is, you can get better battery life out of your MT, if you moderate how much you use the functions on your phone. If you go somewhere and wont be using it to terribly much other than texting or calling, consider shutting off data, wifi, and gps.
Thought I'd share this with you all.
