Mainly connectivity. But I will admit you see that on all phone threads. I never used one, real world, soooooo, don't know for sure. Just saw a whole lotta complainin' goin' on. I was pleasantly surprised how sleek and comfortable the s3 felt when I took a look at tmobile. I was falling, but caught myself in time. Don't want a big girl.

Big girl? The SG3 looks more like the tall, slender supermodel.

Your a real flip-flopper like me. Let's run for president. If I had never read the galaxy nexus threads I might have subsidized the sIII to keep unlimited. But I'm an HTC manboy and won't support sammy this time. I'll make up for my snafu down the road a piece.

Man, ain't that the truth... I have gone back\forth a hundred times about this phone in my head... :D.

Nope, same ones, and where ate all those "extremely positive" comments you mentioned, lol.

"Fastest implementation of Sense ever..."

"Very vibrant, very crisp, very responsive...."

"Very fast experience, very nice gaming experience..."

"Very fast...very quick....almost thought the stats were incorrect and we had a quad-core processor...."

"Nice weight to it......doesn't feel like this phone is cheap at all....it's still a nice premium device...."

Even the fastest Sense doesn't match the speed of the UI on the GS3 as seen in this video:

Samsung Galaxy S3 Review: One Month In - YouTube

That reviewer called the GS3 their favorite phone a month ago. 30 days later that is still their opinion.

As to your original question that I replied to; I still see little about the inc to talk one out of the GS3.

Good comments. I will choose the Inc 4g over the S3 everytime. Hands down, no contest.

You asked for positive comments, and I provided them. And you got my question backwards, I asked someone what about the Samsung talked them out of it. I didn't mention the Incredible at all.

Bottom line is I don't see how the videos in question could be much more positive, and you called them "meh". Not sure how you came to that conclusion......

How truly excited can a reviewer get over a smartphone anyway? They are all about the same. Some better some worse. I still like the way this og dinc looks and feels without a case or screen protector on. Completely the way the manufacturer intended. When I watched those unboxings no one was dancing in the streets goo goo gaga. Same when I watched reviews for the S3 monotone this boring that. Let's all agree on this. You can't always get what you want, but you always get what you deserve.

I admit, "meh" was an exaggeration. The Snapdragon will make the Dinc 4g the top phone on Verizon's lineup, for about a week.

the inc4g looks great imo... fast from what i have seen so far........but the one thing that i was wondering about and i think is killing it for me is the internal storage. 8gb seems like plenty but with ics not allowing apps to move over to the sd card ( i think thats what i read) and it only having what looks to be 1.06gb for apps. what a downer. my current phone has 400mb and it sucks but i have the luxury to move apps to sd card.
..

is this true? this is the first I've heard... ics wont allow move to sd?

my original Inc is rooted and has the low disk space fix installed. even with that I can fill up the space if I leave all apps on the phone...

it would be nice if we don't have to deal with that problem again....

Well, there are lots of video reviews now on youtube after watching some of them, it confirms that some people should not be reviewing phones.

On one of the videos this person gets pretty close up to the bezel and I noticed the screen is actually raised slightly above the bezel of the phone, not sure if I like that.

I still think it was released too late by Verizon and the price is already making it seem cheap, $150.00 now and in a few months it will be $99.00, then what free?

Still don't think this phone has enough to push me into purchasing it, I can't give up my original Inc just yet.

Yes and no.

With an extended storage phone, a part of the internal storage is mounted as /sdcard even though it isn't one.

ICS lets you move apps there.

If the phone allows an optional, physical sd card to be added, it's accessed by a similar name, like /sdcard2 (varies by model).

The /sdcard mount point (I.e., like the main folder name to a Windows user) is standard for all Android. Secondary sd cards are not, so you can expect some minor initial confusion until you get your head wrapped around it. Took me a few days, believe me. :)

Anyway, it all works out for most people.

For some, not so much. In such a case, a root modification to swap the names so that a removable card is once again called /sdcard is not uncommon.

I hear ya. I have an S3 preordered but not really anticipating its arrival. The ole original Incredible is still getting the job done. If it wasn't for that whole unlimited data issue I'd probably still be sitting on my last NE2 upgrade (not that it even matters with that awesome new upgrade fee they slap you with now). I'm not even sure if the Incredible 4G LTE would get me off that fence.

Yup. really

Those were all posts in this thread at one point or another.

I did a search in this thread for "most importantly" or something like that. These all came up, sometimes just quoted by others (the original had gone missing or something).

I knew I had seen those exact words a couple times at least.

I don't get it though. Really, no clue. What purpose would that serve?

[Off Topic]
To clarify. That is a common spam technique, quote a previous post word for word then add a link or pic link to some spammy site. The site spam filters kept the link ics from showing and now that post (and user) have been wiped clean :)

Can't wait to finally see this phone released. Wanna see one for myself

Tomorrow, tomorrow, there's always tomorrow. It would have been so cool if big red would have used the 4th of July to launch its new 4g giants. Instead it's tomorrow the 5th of July. Loooong sigh.

I will have to go to my local Verizon store and at least check it out. I am surprised that it is not available on the website since they could ship it tomorrow??

I wish I would get a call from Verizon trying to get me off unlimited data. I would tell them this phone and double data then we have a deal.
