that sounds very suspicious....there would be a date on it, or they would not mail it for sunday delivery with no open after date...its a cell phone...not nuclear rods.

I am pretty familiar with apple and how they do's it....and i am sure they are more anal about this than HTC or verizon. They do lots of sunday deliveries....but they have dates on them.

I think you can write this box off as "not having anything to do with the phone"...at best;)
 
Well folks, it's looking like all or nothing tomorrow. I can't see Verizon keeping the wraps on this thing much past the opening of the show, as the press is going to want to touch, play and demo it so that they can be among the first to file stories throughout the day. If the Incredible is truly ground-breaking you open the show with a loud and ferocious BAM!! and drown out the competition unveiling their latest and greatest wares. There should be nothing holding them back, nor should they let anyone else steal their thunder. With that said I'm gong to say that if we don't hear confirmation of the phone by 1 PM EST (10 AM Vegas Time) you're likely not going to hear squat on the Incredible at CTIA other than rumors of when it may be coming to market.

I'm gonna say 6pm my time (eastern). Give it to the end of the day. We'll see, but remember everyone... We'll live to see another day ;)

And one for Sigfried Droid; "Post your cardboard box pics here!" So he can go there and get his cardboard box fetish taken care of.

I think the fact that it showed up on this forum is a reason why they didn't have a date. They don't want a date of release leaked, assuming it's real and for the Incredible.

Or maybe, just maybe they didn't want some store manager opening the thing up early tuesday morning, spilling the beans to the internet before they made their announcement at 2pm.

If this thing isn't released tomorrow, I'm going to have to start pressuring apang to get those real specs from his source over at HTC. I need to know if I should hold out... or if the nexus one will due once it arrives (hopefully within the week).


Happy Spring 2010 btw. (Where's that damn phone >:-| )

Lets say a store manager is going to open this and share the contents....do you think putting a date on it is going influence him in any way?

Also 600,000 thousand views and only 1 box reported...I am just saying it sounds like it has nothing to do with the phone.

I'm sure if they had an exact date they would put it on the box. Maybe they don't have an exact date yet.

I've been researching for the past two weeks for my next Verizon phone. First I fell for the Nexus, but then after all these truly helpful forums, I've changed my mind and I'm geeking out on the Incredible.

I was so anxious today I visited my local Verizon store just to test out Sense UI on a HTC Eris. I then went to speak with a salesmen to check on my upgrade status. When she tried to sell me a phone right then and there, I said "No, thanks. I'm still waiting for a phone to come out." She was curious and asked me what phone. I said "The HTC Incredible", the manager working on the computer next to her smiled to himself. She turned to him, she had no idea what it was, and asked him if we were getting that soon. He said "I'd tell you, but I'd have to kill you." She laughed. So I asked him if he had any idea, luckily still catching him in a playful mood, and he said "VERY soon.". The woman told me my status for an upgrade and I said "I'll still wait.". I then asked the guy again and this time he looked like he had just said too much and got nervous and just nodded quickly.

My impression that I got from him was "Yeah, they are in the back room. But I'm not telling." He also sounded really excited about the phone, like he'd been playing around with it.
