just curious on how many people think this this will release within a week? im betting it will get announced tomorrow. and be available sometime with a week (maybe even tomorrow.) what about you guys?
 
Just thought of something that made me laugh. I normally use the page count to determine if something big has taken place or not. For tomorrow however, I beleive that even if there is no announcement, there will be 20 pages of people complaining, so I won't be able to tell if the increase in pages is a good or bad thing.

I think it's very possible, dare I say probable that it will be within 2?

I've been researching for the past two weeks for my next Verizon phone. First I fell for the Nexus, but then after all these truly helpful forums, I've changed my mind and I'm geeking out on the Incredible.

I was so anxious today I visited my local Verizon store just to test out Sense UI on a HTC Eris. I then went to speak with a salesmen to check on my upgrade status. When she tried to sell me a phone right then and there, I said "No, thanks. I'm still waiting for a phone to come out." She was curious and asked me what phone. I said "The HTC Incredible", the manager working on the computer next to her smiled to himself. She turned to him, she had no idea what it was, and asked him if we were getting that soon. He said "I'd tell you, but I'd have to kill you." She laughed. So I asked him if he had any idea, luckily still catching him in a playful mood, and he said "VERY soon.". The woman told me my status for an upgrade and I said "I'll still wait.". I then asked the guy again and this time he looked like he had just said too much and got nervous and just nodded quickly.

My impression that I got from him was "Yeah, they are in the back room. But I'm not telling." He also sounded really excited about the phone, like he'd been playing around with it.

You just brought a tear to my eye. Ehh, not really... but i will admit, i had a BIG grin while reading this. :D
 
Holy cow I can't keep up with you guys at all!!

Unfortunately, he sent me no pix, he doesn't have the nuts to take them, I guess he likes his job. Yes, that DroidTalk post is me. I never post links on here cause I don't want to tick anyone off by advertising for another site.
 
if it releases tomorrow, should you try store first or online? not sure on how many each store will have... ya know?

NKT seems to be the most reputable in terms of information so unfortunately I believe his estimate of mid April/May rather than anytime this month or early April...

so he said .86 gb ram? Our guy said 1 gb :(
 
Hi all, long time lurker first time poster. Been reading this thread, forever it seems, and anxiously awaiting this phone like the rest. I have one question though,
WHAT THE HELL IS TAKING SO LONG?????
A big thanks to everyone for the hard work and good info. I really hope we hear something tomorrow. I'm hoping its the embargoed HTC device mentioned on the CTIA site.
On a side note I had a theory on android 2.1. Is there a device running 2.1 right now other then N1? Maybe it was agreed that google gets the first device running 2.1 for each carrier? I think it would have been pushed out otherwise. Just a theory.
Anyway, can't wait for the incredible. Thanks for all the good info!:D
