I set up internet manualy and it works ok, everything else works too, just sms doesn't. servise center dont wont to memorize, and sending sms infinatly, no error report. but i doubt it's because service center because it dont receive as well!!!
PLEASE work it out if you can, it's our only hope for salvation from lazzy stock rom!

I tried one, two with apn backup, but
that did not want to do. Since we all
work fine except SMS, I think the
reason for throwing some of the
stock program.

Well, somethin's not right. I'm not having any problems really, but I noticed practically zero difference in anything when it's overclocked, even to 864, which didn't even crash anything, but didn't seem faster at all. So I checked out some benchmarks, and they give lower scores with higher clock speeds, even slightly higher speeds. Did the same thing with 2 different benchmarks, but I figured I'd post some results I got from Antutu.

scores - AnTuTu Benchmark

performance -
600mhz - 1258

652mhz - 1068

864mhz - 1053

interactive -
245-600mhz - 1253

245-729mhz - 1065
 
After testing (although sms still doesn't work here),we came to this conclusion:
one.two is much faster with less lag and more battery friendly than one.three.Also,kernel with OC is slower in benchmarks and it's a battery eater.I still have it on my phone and I set it to min 122 max 600,seems that battery life is a bit better,and I calibrated battery twice since flashing this kernel.Hope this helps in your future work.

I'm wondering if the processor is even overclocking at all... I oc'd with this kernela and didn't see a.performance difference, whereas on other phones and kernels, upping the cpu is very noticeable. Maybe there's something wrong with the kernel
 
This is almost 50% of speed up (600->864mhz) and honestly,there is no difference in every day tasks or UI.The oddest thing are the results on benchmarks (Antutu,Quadrant) where every time better score goes to cpu set to 600MHz than 864MHz o.O
 
Just use rom toolbox. Adjust CPU settings low 245, Max 600, and I'm using smartass governor. I also adjusted some kernel tweaks, and it is running fast. No more lag than my lg thrill. Good luck. Battery life is fine as well with those settings.
 
I don't have screenshots, but just make a backup and try it out. It blows stock away. It is themed blue. Uses go launcher instead of the stock launcher. Good luck.

The phone itself doesn't lag on one.two but there is a delay between pressing the power button and having the lock screen come on. Anthony mentioned he knew what was causing the problem and wanted to make sure it was corrected before I wiped my phone on another rom install.
 
@chirsmbrunner How did you or what did you do to tweak the radio signal on the one.three With that installed i have no signal at all at my house. I live past the sticks and only have 1 maybe 2 bars on stock rom.

I just raised the low cpu to 245, and the phone doesn't lag after pressing the power button. At least not ant more than my 5 other phones. I also changed the I/O scheduler to cfq. That seemed to make a difference as well. Hope that helps.

I am trying to remember. I live in the sticks as well in Alaska so i also have the same problem. I added a line to the build prop that was supposed to change when the phone would switch between edge and 3g. Seemed only to make a little difference though. If i can find that again i will put in here.
 
Found it. Add this line to your build prop. I always make a copy of it on my sd card first.

persist.ril.uart.flowctrl=10

Add it anywhere in the build prop. Doesn't matter where.

If i remember right, don't change the value to 0, because that turns off your connection. I tried 5 as well, but 10 seemed the best. Good luck.

Also, i believe Anthony did the kernel on one.three. maybe the stock kernel is better for you. Night pm him and see if he could post a link to the stock kernel.

Might not be anything, but was just a thought.
 
Thanks for this. Running one.three now and loving it. Very simple instructions to follow even for a noob like me. Thought I might have problem with sms as my phone is unlocked with sim from a local provider but it's working like the machine that it is. Perfect for me. Haven't noticed change in speed of performance but I'm just glad to get rid of all the bloat.

I'm quite a curious person and was just wondering if zte blade ICS custom roms will work on our phones. This is a link to some I found.

kernel.1.0 installed on mts serbia stock romB-) ,and t works just fine,no lag at all:-D everything works!!!your curent phone frequency 864mghz :-D

wasnt thinking, and deleted my stock rom(U.S.) when i did a system update, now i am on a bootloop of the one.three, anybody have the stock rom?

edit: did not fix it, was wrong about that.
