yes 2 times i also notice with this rom on my phone batt life is short just on standby. i like to use titanium so i can freeze app i don't want running in the background. i look in setting but there wasn't much there to stop certain app
also signal strenght is weak. usually on backside,sense,kelsos i get between 1 to 2 bars in the house. with this one 0 to 1 at times. once again i'm not complaining .i'm just stating things that i've notice not working or have small issues to let others know.but before i forget sammyz great job and i appreciate all your help
and going out of your way to keep us busy and happy. oh and by the way netflix
is also choppy and audio out of sync. i haven't tried the flash trick cause youtube works fine for me.

youtube app doesn't require (nor does it use) flash player :p

well i install the flash player listed here i just tried netflix better picture quality but audio is still no sync and freezing at times.no biggie i want to know why batt life is short at least for me on this rom.??

I think because the GUI of MIUI uses up a lot of resources to run, or because you need to let the battery stats build up more before the phone can read the battery better of its life until it needs to be recharged again.

once the batt is 100% fully charge. with every new roms i install then i click on the batt calibrate app.
ok i was able to install titanium backup and other apk files that root explorer or others would not let me install them i did it thru adb using these commands=
cp /sdcard/YourApp.apk /system/app/YourApp.apk
then if no error type reboot now your done
i tried doing adb install path/file.apk but no luck. hope this helps others

ok, I guess you have to push it on, I know there are others who got titanium backup installed normal way through market with no problem, I guess you have a bad install...

thanks sammyz well part of it has to do with my Front Panel Touch Glass Lens Digitizer Screen the bottom part close to the keys. doesn't work when you tap on it.i have to put the phone side ways to tap ok,enter and so on i found a new one on ebay for $19.00 waiting for it to come in. cheaper than buying another phone.once again thanks for the help and all of contribution. looking forward for the next new powerful rom.heheheheeh
 
hey sammyz maybe you want to make this as an update. i deleted the quickpic.apk cause it doesn't work atleast not for me.it try to open the closes. then i deleted miui camera.apk.from system/app then i took the camera.apk from backside
and install it to this rom using adb example command i use= cp /sdcard/Camera.apk /system/app/Camera.apk
then type reboot bamm now i have a real working camera/video.
i had to download a video player i pick moboplayer+codecs as it plays all format.cause if you add this mod and take videos you need a video vierwer.
i just like my stuff to work 100% with out barely any work around.hehehehehe

gannon said he will have a new update soon, he was recently unbanned from AC :eek: that's a surprise. When he releases his update, I will update this and will try all apps before posting it here, anything not working properly will be replaced/removed from my port before I post here.

ok thanks did you download the service manual yet. it is very interesting
 
is there a way when viewing a photo/image i can't zoom in like the other roms when you tap on it the zoom icon pops up.??
 
hey sammyz here is an update i had to do to get the non working app to work
quick pic that came with the rom didn't work so i deleted it and install it from the market
now it works like a charm. the camera app that came with rom also didn't work so again i deleted it and took the camera.apk from the backside rom move it to system\app
not install but move the rebooted camera works like a charm. i tried the ones from sense and kelso rom but it didn't work only the one from backside.everything else i tried works ok just wish the rom would be a tad snappier

yea only partial about the camera i/m licking this rom more than the others i hope we get and updated on it oh and by the way the only way i could change the lockscreen wallpaper was thru settings if i try it thru miui gallery i would get a FC
 
has anybody else notice that when you are on a phone conversation weather
on speaker phone or not if you try to bring the volume down to zero it won't
go that low.???is there a setting while on call to lower it to barely nothing.??

It won't go to zero, ever, stock does the same thing...
 
Whats going on with this rom, fixes and such? This one is too awesome to be left behind.

Why would you be sorry? xD If I could have anyone to be the OP, I'm glad it's you. Sorry I don't have time to work with android anymore. I have a lot of other things on my mind now.. But I enjoyed it while it lasted.
