Root Can't flash any ROM's

Yeah so can't flash any roms using twrp. They all instantly fail and say installation aborted. Bad dl's maybe?

Damn auto correct is there any way a mod can correct that title or just delete the thread. I think I figured it out anyways. I'm pretty sure the problem is that I'm running the stock odex ROM and not the deodexed.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's because I'm trying to flash over odex and not deodex

I don't have your device so there may be differences I'm unaware of, but I've flashed plenty of roms before on HTC phones and it shouldnt matter if its odex or deodex.

im on the sharp shooter rom and i cant flash any rom cuz of a md5 sum mismatch

I've tried both mobster ROM and mean ROM and neither will flash

Have you tried using 4ext? that's the one i used to install the roms.

I flashed the stock odex ROM with no issues. As for 4ext, it didn't look like my cup of tea

4 ext touch, is the best, its what im using. very simple and straight forward, better than TWRP by far

So I tried to flash the stock deodexed ROM. I was able to pay a lil closer attention this time and twrp is giving me the dreaded md5 mismatch. What can I do about this? Re-flash the recovery maybe?

Samething happened with me i installed 4 ext and then flashed the touch recovery

Just give it a try, twrp is not working for you, try 4ext touch, it's worth the money, you could always get it from google search, but i like to buy my apps, for the updates.

I picked it up. It's pretty rad. Haven't used it to flash a ROM yet but I did use it to make a backup and let me just say, after using the touch interface, I'll never go back to anything less. It's awesome.
