Cool thanks @billsmed! I just saw this too which I'm sure you already saw:
Sprint to announce 'groundbreaking new device' (HTC Supersonic?) tomorrow -- Engadget
Just kind of strange how that chat rep for Sprint spilled the beans like that
Scratch that...I just saw this:
Motorola i1 Makes Android Push-to-Talk on Sprint | These are the Droids
So I'm thinking it's just the Moto I1. Bummer

I wouldn't worry about the moto i1 being the ground breaking new device. See my #285 post.
Yesterday, when Sprint Premier customers logged into their accounts, they were presented with a notice that said "Visit us tomorrow for an exciting announcement about a ground breaking new device". Most people seem to think they will be announcing the Supersonic today. So let me get this straight. The Supersonic will be announced today or tomorrow?
Welcome n11. Good question about the remote wipe. I'm sure that is being addressed. This probably doesn't help your situation much, but there is an app in the Android Market that lets you lock your phone from any hand held device or computer.

Tomorrow, March 24th at noon EDT, Dan Hesse will be delivering his keynote address at the CTIA Wireless trade show in Las Vegas where he is expected to demo the Supersonic. A link to a webcast for his address is listed on the home page of this thread.
Maybe someone else more versed on the subject will help. I do know they're working on Exchange. Right now, what comes to mind is Black Berry as they support it and that's why they are so popular with businesses. I'm almost positive that the iPhone doesn't support Exchange either and that's why they haven't been popular with corporate. Since government and law enforcement agencies are so interested in the Supersonic, it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see them support Exchange. We should know a lot more by tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately, while there are workarounds using third party services and apps they won't help in our corporate environment. Our IT folks are very serious about security standards.
I'm a Premier customer and I didn't get that message.Yesterday, when Sprint Premier customers logged into their accounts, they were presented with a notice that said "Visit us tomorrow for an exciting announcement about a ground breaking new device". They had it up and took it down.
That doesn't sound like a "ground breaking announcement" to me. I think we just have to be a little more patient. Here is a message sprint just put out on facebook.
