Help SD storage lg esteem

i checked and i am trying to move some things to ex sd and says full no more memory...showing 4

rebooted 3 x and now it works or reads correctly thanks
 
Ok have another question for some reason my sd card says its own damage and I need to reformat it but won't that erase everything

PS1. Please back up immediately to your pc and get another card....my sdcard just went.

PS2. Also looks like your internal card almost full...if you buy bigger sdcard, you may be able to free up space by moving things over...maybe with an app like ZDBox...may speed up your phone..

I could be wrong, but it looked like your internal storage space was almost full.
Now, that app only transfers within internal areas....and if already close to limit, it then becomes cumbersome...
One has to find each app that backs up and or stores data internally, and tell each to change to external...in some cases having to type the path command prompt style. Fyi some apps will throw error message if you don't previously use a file explorer to precreate new folder...
Then, one needs a file explorer to manually cut n paste as needed.
It makes a huge difference, assuming space was low, phone becomes faster....but it's a lot of drudge work.
