How are you going to use Skype without having any connections? The way you could use the Incredible in Europe would be on wifi.

Yes, using wifi. (hence the not "quite the same" part of my post)

Only if you find a wifi connection. My understanding it the phone is a paperweight outside the US even with Skype unless you can find the only connection that will work and that is the wifi receiver. Also I hear wifi is pretty pricey in Europe. Might just make sense to get a pay as you go phone while in Europe.

Hotels have wifi. That's where I sleep while in Europe.

Okay- the article says "a couple " of windows like that. If one is the SS, I don't see the other one being anything other than the Incredible. Unless, of course, you are aware of any other rumored, as of yet to be confirmed/unveiled HTC devices.
