The phone actually looks squashed in that video for some reason.Hm so its 1.27cm thick versus my 3G which is 1.23cm thick. Guess thats not too bad. Still looks really "bricky" in that video for some reasons

I was looking at the render of the HTC Supersonic and wondered what the final version might look like...
In the picture below, the render of the HTC Bravo (left) when released morphed into the HTC Desire (right) or some would argue, the Nexus One. Either way, there was quite a change. Do you think the same thing is likely to happen with the Supersonic? I'm just trying to get some conversation going about this phone and I'm curious about your opinion and what you have to say about it.

This is what the HTC Supersonic might look like if it doesn't change from the rendered version.
Does anyone know if there will be some kind of podcast or live webcast of Dan Hesse's keynote address next Wednesday at CTIA?

What is it with only having 65k colors?
It looks bricky because people are idiots and don't know how to properly convert video. This video needs to get rid of the letterbox or else the image will be squashed. Kind of like when lame cable/satellite companies take a video that was originally made for 4:3 but had letterbox embedded in the video then stretch it to 16:9 without removing the letterbox or going back to a higher res master. The end result is a squashed, blurry image that makes me have to manually zoom my TV screen to at least get rid of the distorted ratio.
/end rant
Haha yea got it. Thanks man![]()
I'm confused, is it AMOLED or TFT? I thought it was TFT LCD but on the developers site it says AMOLED.
Android - Sprint ADP
In the pictures the screen looks fine to me. I'm going to be heading to T-Mobile tomorrow to check out an HD2 for comparison however a few months ago I was at a Sprint store and thought the Hero and Moment were comparable in terms of their displays. I didn't see a big enough difference that would be a deal breaker.
Here's a Sprint video of the EVO 4G

The phone looks awesome!!!! I love the red on it. And to think I was so close to getting the HD2. Thank goodness I'm a patient man and waited on word about this phone lol. This phone blows it out the water!!!!! The specs are insane. The phone is called EVO. I don't care if it was called the pink fluffy. I can't wait to get this phone.
