Now everyone just calm down and lets all wait for this exciting new phone to come out, if anything it means sprint is scared of verizon in which case is the reason why they pulled out there phone that isnt even coming out for two months :)

Weren't you the same guy who is supposedly at CTIA? While not really constructive to say so, I definitely will take any details you provide with a grain of salt.
 
So, last week, when HTC had their response to Apple's lawsuit, their answer was all about how innovative they are. All the numerous awards they have won with their innovative designs. Today's evo certainly put an exclamation point to that statement. This one phone certainly surpasses anything iphone has done.

Now, if only Verizon would announce our incredible, we'd all be happy.

Verizon dumps millions into advertising to get subscribers on two year contracts and make lots of money. It just so happens that the Droid nets them an additional $30 per month for every one they sell, give away, drop, bogo or otherwise end up in the hands of someone. It doesn't make sense for them to go dark and not generate new subscribers while they are planning the roll out of something better. If that were the case, they'd never advertise. There is and will ALWAYS be something newer/better in the pipeline and there will always be those, who like us with our beloved Incredible, will be continuously speculating and jonesin' for the next fix of newer/better.

Tell you what - if CTIA comes and goes with no Incredible, I'll go to that VZW store after hours Thursday night and break into it to open that damn box! Keep in mind, you'll be the recipient of my one phone call though. ;) :p

Maybe you can play dress up and pretend youre the HTC rep :D That might keep you out of hot water long enough till I can send some bail money western union.
 
I have to admit... I just glanced at the first page on the new "HTC EVO" thread.... that is one SICK looking phone! PACKED with all kinds of cool stuff!! If our Incredible is just as good, or better, then we're a bunch of very happy campers in here!! :)

and how do u know if he is there or not? last thing he said he was in his hotel room taking a break.... everyone is jumping all over this guy telling him hes a fake blah blah blah, damn haters this is the internet stop taking it like its life or death,and if you wanna believe everything u read on the internet i have 4 million$ here in nigeria i just need u to send me $15k thanks

i really wish work didnt block so many sites... got out of work today and had way to many pages to catch up on, sad to hear they didnt anounce the INC today, however im not loosing faith on tomorrow

Agreed. Not sure how he would know this unless they flat out said it, which I doubt HTC would (at this point it has to be verizon's call on when and where).

For about the 489th time in the last 24 hrs. I'm sure it means something THIS time though.

Maybe there should be a testman thread added. It would probably pass this thread in posts in 1/2 day if everyone reports every time it goes down...........
 
Didn't Montana say the box would be opened when the HTC rep came? Tomorrow? That makes tomorrow seem more likely if the box contains Incredible materials.

It took me a LONG time to get through everything today and I was only gone for a few hours (damn gym and kid's dentist appointment). I could have just looked up the info myself, but I actually enjoyed the excitement of going through the posts (although, admittedly, I didn't read all of them).

I think you guys are awesome. Love the laughs and optimism. The knowledge and insider info is unbelievable. :)

Keep up the good work. I wish I had something more to add. But I do really enjoy this. I can't wait to get the phone and join a new forum so I can learn all about it.

(I'm a stay-at-"hoe" mom too. And I work part-time as a tech editor.) :)
