Jellybean Bootanimation as a Live Wallpaper

Hi everyone, I saw this and thought it was worth sharing. I really wanted a subtle LWP and figured that the boot animation would make a good one.

Someone else must have thought so too because there is a LWP in the Play Store. It doesn't do much more than glow and rotate but it is simple and that's my favorite thing about it.

Hell yea, that looks sick. I too am a fan of simplicity. I like crazy backgrounds but there is something sexy about an elegant, simple background. Thanks for posting that up man.

I don't usually run LWPs but new version of Android...I'm all geeked out anyway so might as well throw one on other for awhile.

How's battery life seem with it? Since It's mostly black I'm guessing the less screen use makes up for the lwp lose. Might try this after flashing Jelly Belly 3.6 today.

Battery impact seems very low with this LWP. I have it on medium size, medium speed, no rotation. I am using Nova launcher and although I do have "live wallpaper scrolling" set to "on", this LWP doesn't support it (meaning the "X" stays in the center of the screen at all times).

This LWP also does not slow the responsiveness of the launcher down one bit which might be the biggest appeal for me. LWPs are great to look at but the "lag" is usually too much to bear...that is not the case here.

Edit: If anyone tries this on ICS, please post your experience. I'm curious if there is ANY lag on ICS because there is zero lag with this LWP on JB.

I am verizon stock ICS using stock launcher and it seems fine to me. If battery life suffers. I'll post back.

Love the simplicity.

Sweet! I just installed it and am running it on stock ICS, Verizon edition. Love the minimalistic feel to it.
