Ok so i left my computer for like 10 minutes and started thinking about options.
I thought about the Moto Shadow and how it is rumored to come to VZW in the summer time. Now we know that Verizon has some weird relationship with Motorola for some reason. Motorola has debuted their Razr on there and had the DROID as a flagship phone.So they obviously get a lot of love from VZW. Why else would a company advertise the Devour on the Superbowl? That's a lot of money. When the DROID came out, it was hyped up and released with the unknown Droid Eris.

What if VZW is planning on doing this again? What if they plan on releasing the Moto Shadow in the summertime and the Incredible along with it?? Itd be like a DROID and Eris relationship?

EDIT: the moto shadow could very well compete with the EVO being it has a 4.3 inch screen and hdmi out support
 
Everybody chill your nuts.............its been like 8 hours since CTIA JUST BEGAN and everybody is having their period. "OMG NO INCREDIBLE" "OMG THEY ARE LYING TO US" "ITS A SHAM AND FAKE"

Calm down people. There are still 2 days left of CTIA. Just wait till CTIA ends to go all crazy.

If the Incredible doesn't get announced by the end of Thursday then you all can look like him --> :mad:
 
well my source told me about a week or two ago about the "incredibles" release date....he said june/july.

i never posted it because I was hoping he was wrong and it would be announced at ctia. plus a lot of people would be mad and/or would say hell no. not saying this is 100% true, but it is another date coming from a reputable source about a summer release.

so, just throwin this out there...take it or leave it.

Things, VZW has yet to announce

1. New Verizon Wireless website
2. New unlimited mobile 2 mobile calling plans (saw banner ads on testman)
3. Saygus V-phone
4. HTC (Probably Not Named Incredible)


I don't think Verizon is done announcing stuff yet.

I agree except the last day doesn't count. So we have one day left. One day with a high possibility of a great thing happening. That or a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced.

So now a new "source" is claiming a possible June/July release.... August..do I hear August? September anyone? Who's got October? Who's got November? December? Going once....going twice.....December it is!!

This is getting effin ridiculous.

I heard VZW is getting the MacBook Pro in June.

One of their reps told me.
 
Okay boys and girls.....it's not doing anyone any good to continue to LAMENT here all evening......time for hot baths,....warm milk.....and a return to more simple times.....remember in the original Peter Pan movie when Tinkerbell is almost done in....we all clapped our hands together and repeated,...."I believe,.......I believe".....

Confidentiality agreement with FCC only lasts till August 1st for the Incredible.
 
Isn't vzw suppose to start selling the devour Thursday online? Maybe they announce the "incredible" tomorrow and start selling it Thursday with the devour.

yeah but he has known about the date for a while so...
 
Wasn't there some chatter awhile back that the Incredible was originally slated for a late March release but that was pushed back to May or so for some unknown reason. At the time some thought it was related to the screen cracking and multi-touch issues the N1 had.

This info just kind of passed with people believing the release would be earlier. Is it possible that it was pushed back for some hardware or software issues? Or maybe Verizon caught wind of some of the other phones coming out and wanted to up the specs (doubtful given what NKT has said about the process)?

It's tough to know anything because everything we've gotten has come from a few random "tester" leaks. Heck, most of the info on the web about this phone originated in this thread.

I'm frustrated and losing hope. If I still lived in Minneapolis, I'd be switching to Verizon as their coverage is pretty good up there, but down here in Tampa I'm pretty much stuck with Verizon.

Kind of goes with the theme that with Sprint's announcement, Verizon wanted the floor for themselves.
 
Well, if HTC/V can't get this phone out, Motorola is slated to have the Shadow out this summer and the Droid 2 this fall/winter...

The only problem is that I want the Sense UI.
 
My happy place was a nice day at the beach. Now its me getting rid of this voyager and getting my incredible! hehe. Im so sick of people telling me, damn your phone is huge. I'm like bite me!
