Just got back. Had to nearly run in Phoenix to make our connection, but made it through customs and security no sweat. Have to say, security in Mexico airports is hilarious. They really don't care about anything. Smooth sailing for sure there. :)
Glad to have tomorrow off of work to unwind (and hit up the Neko Case concert!).
 
I bought my PS3 when it first came out. I think it finally died. If my laptop decides to go too then I'm screwed. The only thing I'll have for entertainment will be my phone.

You could be in a worse position! There are lots of great games for our phone, in case you hadn't noticed. ;)
 
Glad to hear both dread and BB had safe travels! Even if it is the homebound leg, and not as exciting as the outbound one :p

So have to brag a little, my daughter started gymnastics, (she's 3). She is always climbing and jumping on stuff around the house, but she is kind of a klutz, so I wasn't sure how that was going to work. But after two classes, they moved her to the 6-7 year old class, and she is already doing the balance beam unassisted!

Uploading some pics from our trip now (I'll post them in a few, takes forever to upload to Drive). Exciting day for all those getting a Nexus 7 today (woops, sorry, Pup ;))! Have to dig through our massive/neglected pile of mail to find my concert tickets. If I can't find em, suppose I can print them (we've forgotten tickets at this venue before, but if you show an ID and CC used to buy em, they print new ones). For those who've never heard of Neko Case, she's really cool. Alt country is how she's usually described:

Good morning to all! My Nexus 7 is on the truck for delivery as we speak. UPS doesn't run until late afternoon so it won't be there till I get home from work...otherwise I would be waiting on it. That's really the only thing keeping my day somewhat positive. Had one of the worst days I've had at work in the 4+ years I've been here. Got really frustrated to the point where I am probably going to start actively seeking another job.

Trust me, the past few weeks, I've had MANY of those days. This vacation really did a lot to help clear my mind and get me focused and back in the game. Hang in there, but like I tell everyone who works with us: If you're not happy here, get out! Don't ever do anything you're not happy doing regardless of pay, location, friendships etc. It's just not worth doing. :)

It's really not that I hate my job. I don't mind what I do and actually do enjoy some days. I like the location, I like the pay, I like the benefits, I love the hours....I HATE the people/organization. There is absolutely no accountability. When the success of what I do depends on 15 other people that aren't held accountable for doing their job in support of mine, it makes me look bad and I'm the one that gets held responsible, not the people that didn't do their job which keeps me from meeting a due date.
