Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

So pretty excited, a squadron of F-22s are in Savannah at the Training center for the next month. Get to look forward to lots of fly-overs as my office building is on their preferred approach path. :D As an Aero-Engineer who chose the field for my love of aircraft, I'm pretty stoked about it.

Pup- It's a navigation app, but it gathers its maps from the users of the app, by tracking where they go.

That's cool. I'm in the flight path for when the do Flyovers at Gillette Stadium. Whenever they have a flyover they literally fly directly over my house at what seems like treetop level. And every home opener I forget to pause the DVR and wait outside for it to happen.

Pup, do you plan to unlock and root off the bat?
It really is super easy. Haven't confirmed if I retain my Play Store credit, but I'd still recommend doing it asap.

I wasn't able to ship Evan's gift yesterday, but got it out today. Doesn't compare to a N7, but I hope he likes what I got him. Read the card to him after he opens the gifts.

For folks unfamiliar, a few weeks ago CaptainRon asked about cheap replacement phones as his daughter's hand me down from him had a fatal mis-hap. I offered to give him my retired D2 that Evan was using but he would have no part of that. We settled on him sending Evan a pilot gift pack and he would have the phone. As far as I am concerned, Evan, and I, am making out in the deal as it will be like a secret santa.

Make sure you get through initial setup so that you receive your confirmation email for the Play Store credit. I did this, the unlocked and rooted.

Evening All! I agree, you have to love the camaraderie here! Chief, I am not sold on the radios we are all using, FC04/FC05. Sometimes I think the first leaked radios were better. I never had grey on signal strength or wifi, but on these I have. But try it for yourself, you can always flash back. Which 3.7 are y'all flashing?

It's definitely a win-win Pup. Thank you again for the D2 for my daughter. I only hope Evan enjoys his gifts. It's been a while since I've shopped for a five year old boy. :)

LOL. Thanks, but I too have an old Treo and there is no way my daughter could bear going to that after tasting Android. As Pup said, my daughter trashed my old D2 and really wanted another one. She has another year before she can upgrade so I went to the Watering Hole before the classifieds to see if I could buy a used replacement here from one of my friends. Pup wouldn't take any cash for his so I was happy to find some fun pilot gifts for 5 year old Evan in trade.
