Root In need of two boost testers or team members

Android Enthusiast
As the title says I am looking for two boost testers or team members. Depending on how it goes maybe four all together. My team has no boost people on it, so it is a bit hard to make sure things work as needed for boost with out knowing what is needed in it. With that said I am looking for people that can do the following:

Flash roms
Beta Test
Experience in rom devolopment
Experience in theme work and/or image work
Good with pc's and able to setup tools on own
Has adb setup and or knows how to use it

If you can do any of the above and can use gtalk (Hate irc with passion). Then please post, first come first serve. Which means first two able to test, will get the right to do so. Thanks

I'm your huckleberry, as Doc holiday would say. I test whatever i've got no fear & a fairly descent knowledge of android OS.

Aww dam. So that's what you wanted to talk about. Unfortunately I will be selling my phone after the 27th. Lost my job and some family issues, so I can't afford to keep the phone in service now. Figured I'll sell it after the 27th and get a new phone when/if I get a new job. :P

So is this what you need tested ? Or do have something else up your sleeve ?

I wouldn't have posted something I need tested lol.... I was just throwing it out there, as for the root it should be working. But I recall that was a issue before, go into superuser and hit menu, then I think settings and see what updating the binary does.

Right I was wondering about that lol.

Ok since I didn't get a thing for feedback on the gingerbread rom, I need at least two more testers on boost or sprint to test a Ics rom.

Then for a teaser for the rom it consists of the following with more added daily.
Latest boost Ics Ota
Switched build to full sprint to enable full roaming
Advanced Power Menu
Mms fully work on the HeroS, Multicarrer needs added hence the testers
Debloated a good bit
Prerooted
100% Battery Mod
Enabled Unlock Animations
Transparent app drawer set to 85% with my own 5x6 mod
Misc Speed tweaks
Disabled usb debugging icon
Disabled everything 4g for the HeroS (To turn back on for sprint or boost is a simple edit)
Backlight and capacitive key backlights lowered for battery life
Mms compression removed, and settings changed for larger mms
Volume Wake
And several other things enabled.

Open to anyone wanting to test, how ever knowledge is recommended. Thanks

ICS now were talking, i'm not too interested in testing gingerbread that's the dark ages as far as I'm concerned. But test ics all day long

Gingerbread may be dark ages, how ever you won't have the speed or battery life of ics due to my kernel in it. It was done for someone wanting a lag free, good battery life daily rom. Let me see ics get 12+ hours of life up to over a day. It wasn't meant to be new age eye candy. It is also the first implent of multi-carrier support in on rom, where you flash and go. In which I spent several days, figuring out the best way to do it and to get it to do what I wanted. It was also to make sure I knew what was need for boost. Where you didn't want to test it, so sorry to be blunt. I need people willing to test anything.

In turn rally and alex you will bee getting links around 8pm eastern time.

All 3 of you I sent links to, that means you jay. If no feedback is given, I will not hand out links to you again so be warned. I need a few that is somewhat dependable at feedback and issue reporting.

Lately I've been on here everyday. I'd be more than happy to test out for you. Unfortunately, even though I waited a few days to decide to give my phone the update from January so I could see if I should update or not, I found out two days later that I couldn't root after the update using the method in this forum's all-things-root sticky.

I'm guessing I just could just install CWM, backup, and flash my ROM to a pre-update version, right? But I'd first have to find a link to download that version.

I would gladly test for you, I am new to the Evo Design but I have flashed custom roms on everything from Samsung Vibrant Continuum and Prevail also the MyTouch 4G by LG and my personal favorite with every rom ever made for it HTC Hero.
