I feel ya. I've only been waiting since Christmas, but I'm starting to lose hope. The EVO was announced at 4:30 or so EST, so I'm going to give myself one more hour of thinking it will be announced at CTIA. After that hour, all bets are off.

I know why. You've been through the black friday hype, the 31 days after Droid launched hype and now the CTIA hype. If the N1 becomes available for family plan upgrade this week I may wait 2 more weeks and then get the N1.

I've had this EnV since 2006 and I've been due for a new phone since Aug 2008 if anyone should lose hope it should be me :p

can we really expect anything else from verizon here..?? im so angry its comical! Verizons network is so far ahead of the others it isnt even funny yet verizon for some reason they want other carriers to stay close when they dont have to be..You got the network now get the dam phones! Other carriers are trying, the evo the desire and so on.. Verizon we here at ctia want to know what you have for us..? Oh we got somthin for the masses! BAMMMMMMM! we call this the lg cosmos! uhhhh sir that looks like the samsung intensity..shut up! its the new lg cosmos! haha

verizon needs to STOP getting tucked in at night by the motorola execs as they pull the droid comforters up to their chin! this is getting a little outta hand..

im starting to feel like a frikkin droid owner waiting for 2.1!! now i know how they feel!!!

Staging is an industry term for a non-production web environment. Not an actual stage; just a place to test stuff out, work out kinks, etc. before real consumers start using it.

I'm pretty sure this isn't referring to a literal stage. More like a staging environment or a placeholder.
