I don't know what disappoints me more. The fact your rooted Nexus is stock or your taste in beer.

Pup,
I don't know what disappoints me more. The fact your rooted Nexus is stock or your taste in beer.![]()
Wachusett is brewed not far from where I live. I'm surprised you get it down there. I really like their Country Ale. I've tried that blueberry once, tastes just like blueberry pie (which isn't my thing, I like my beer to taste like beer).
Ha ha ha, it figures.... I popped in and out of the pre-release thread, was first in line at my local Verizon for the GNex release, have been lurking here ever since, and the beer topic is what's going to get me to come out of the woodwork! It took me a little bit to work my way off of the light American lagers, but now I'm full speed ahead with craft brews, imports, and making my own homebrew. While I can't match Stigy's love of "120-Minute by the pint", I still marvel at how they stuffed that much flavor into that beer! I think the way I started to expand my beer palate was when I started homebrewing. I had worked my way up to ambers and some stouts at that point, but once I saw how many styles there were I had to do plenty of "research" on what I wanted to make next! A couple of coworkers and I started a beer appreciation club recently. Each week one member brings in either something they really like and want to share or something they've never had and want to try. So for an extra six pack a month we get to try a bunch of beers we may have not taken a gamble on on our own.
As towards more of the phone-relevancy side of things I haven't gone too crazy yet with my Nexus. I've mostly just stuck with appearance mods with Nova Launcher. I rooted and flashed a couple of times with my Incredible (also picked up on Day 1). But about a year after I had to resuscitate it from forgeting it in my pocket while sailing at the lake, it finaly needed to go. Luckily the Nexus was right around the corner (and then the other corner.... no, no, the NEXT corner....)
Anyway, I figured it was about time I said hi. So, Hi.
Great way to introduce yourself. Welcome to the Hole
Yum!!Tequila Day begins!![]()
Yeah, but you're of the gender that can drink Mike's Hard without taking any flak.I don't like bitter coffee, but I do like strong coffee. And no judgement from me for drinking Mike's Hard...I drank a few of those the other night myself (the black cherry ones). And as far as beer, I'm a cheap American beer kinda girl too. Shock Top is about as fancy as I get. I can't do those dark foreign beers. I don't want to feel like I need to chew my beer.uke:
With all due respect, those two have nothing to do with each other except the brand name.Okay...gotta jump in now...I am a mostly vodka drinker...so I like my Smirnoff ices
I like vodka myself. Ice cold Ketel One any day.

Welcome to our world, funny the topics that get this group so chatty and bring out the lurkers. As for me, don't drink at all. Love good strong robust coffee, un-sweat tea, water and milk with dinner. Not a huge breakfast fan, eggs cannot be runny, yuck, yuck, yuck. Captain and BB, you two are so....tame, I am getting worried about your remarkable restraint. LolHa ha ha, it figures.... So much alcohol talk tonight, love it.
BB - find a place that sells craft beet, you may find the Blueberry beer in northern NJ.
Last UI post of the night - so satisfied with it right now.

I thanked your portrait screenie from earlier as I had to view it on my phone. I like the landscape view here too. Looks great, and I'm just talking from a UI standpoint. I don't get the point counting WW thing at all, just saying its a clean and neat layout.
Oh this isn't the landscape layout, but it will in fact be similar to this. This is just the three tabs side by side so you can see them all at once.
Thanks though.
RIP Sherman Hemsley, dead at 74. As George Jefferson, he made a lot of people laugh.
Now both The Jeffersons have really moved on up.![]()

What do we call a Chai with three shots like I had the other morning? I was bouncing off the walls.Sup y'all.
Welcome to our newest lurker turned contributor...you'll love it here.
Love that y'all drink Starbucks...well, most of yous. Dirty Chai is indeed what we like to call it. Try a chai with two shots of espresso. This is the Filthy Chai! Ask me anything Starbucks by the way...I have lots of knowledge...just no insider trader stuff y'all.
Beer: I love it all! No, seriously, never tried a beer I didn't like.
No tequila for me tonight but the wife just made authentic tacos down to the last detail. Which reminds me...gotta go back inside and finish the dishes since she is giving Cooper a bath.

That would be named XXX Chai!
BB and Capt.: do you smell the setup?
