[Verizon] Any way I can get the OTA update for JB if I am rooted?

I am using clock work recovery.

You would need to flash back to the stock recovery when the ota starts pushing out AND make sure you haven't deleted or modified any files in the system file tree. Better option IMO would be to flash a rooted rom of the future ota which will be available within hours of its release and will be the exact same thing and with a clean install no less.

how do u flash back to stock recovery?

Either fastboot flash it or the super easy way is using Scary Alien's free root toolkit app from the market. You can go back and forth all you want with a press of a button.

can i download the JB rom using galaxy nexus toolkit?

No the toolkit isn't a rom management app. It has a host of options for making certain root activities easier because it can be done via an onboard app rather than interfacing with a PC. Here's a screenshot of the options it provides:

I have the desktop version, but I guess the answer is the same.

I used the desktop tool kit to root then downloaded a JB ROM directly to my phone and flashed it.

If you are looking at options for ROMs, the Cyanogenmod 10 "preview" ROM is fast and stable. Everything works and no bugs so far as I can tell.

where on the program do u download the JB ROM?

why use a preview build when you can get the real thing from the boards here?

Because the "preview build" is fast, stable, and bug-free. At least that's what I've experienced so far. It's only a preview for CM10 because nightlies haven't started, I think. But everything works on the ROM I flashed so far...
