If it takes someone that sells phones more than a couple days to learn the basics of a new phone...they're in the wrong business.

I was thinking along these lines too, but maybe the tech support folks need more time?

If MMs box really was filled with incredible-related material, the release has got to be sometime in the near future. They wouldn't send anything out otherwise.

I am about done with this forum. We don't know jack, no one knows diddly and all we hear are what-ifs and freaking maybe's. Unless you have a pic, dead on provable connection, then just STFU and be quiet

Send Phases a message and ask him to delete/ban your account then. Problem solved. He posted earlier a couple of pages ago. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to take care of that for you.

Normal to train for 3-4 weeks? I thought previous estimates were more like a week?

I think that would be a great question for MM or anyone to ask at a verizon store...."When you receive a new phone..how long do your employees get trained?" maybe if you ask it that way without obviously referring to to the Incredible we may get some clues :)

You just did the same thing MENSA. Take your hypocritical, mouth breathing a$$ somewhere else and I'll let your mother know when the phone drops so you can pick one up!

(Disclaimer.....if there is something wrong with your mother or if she is no longer with us then I apologize but if she is alive and well then I don't)

Course, if the hardware can hack it (does it have the proper RF filters and amps in place for 5 GHz), I don't see why you couldn't get N...since there is similar hardware that does (*cough*N1*cough*).

So, to followup my own followup.

Well, I got a tad bored and went digging through the good old FCC database, and HTC never tested the 5 GHz range for 802.11n. Doesn't mean it can't do it...but noone tested it. However, I don't know if you can go back and change it in software to use 5 GHz w/o the FCC to go over things again...didn't Apple pull this stunt with something (shipped with 5 GHz disabled, then enabled it thru a software patch later)?

But the FCC filing does give us a hard backend of when HTC/VZW would ship the item. All of the docs they submitted that have only a temporary confidentially classification will become public record on Aug. 7, 2010. After that date, the Users manual, internal and external photos, etc. will become public record.

(For those who know how to use the FCC website, the FCC ID I believe is NM8PB31200)
