Yall know there was an HTC device called the P6300 lol........it's like 2-3 yrs old but similar name.

Anyway, im going to just come out and say Verizon sucks :p

nah but i hate their process of releasing phones......its terribly annoying and doesn't prepare customers if they should get a phone, wait for a phone, or just switch to another carrier and get the phone or a better phone.

Okay everyone, if this pans out, how many of you would consider jumping ship from the ADR6300 to the N1, if VZW ends up subsidizing the latter? This would, theoretically, allow a 30-day return period nationwide (not just here in CA), allow full 3G network access (if that was ever an issue on CDMA) and drive down from >$500 to ~$200.

Personally, I'd still prefer Incredible. You?

My contract has actually been up for about 6 months and was waiting to get the Nexus One when it was available for Verizon. And then I found this thread, and based on the rumored specs, decided that I would get The Incredible. Was hoping that there would be info at CTIA about The Incredible but unfortunately that doesn't look like it's going to happen. If what the Verizon rep told me is true, I would probably still get The Incredible over the Nexus One, only if they come out around the same time (give or take 30 days). If the Nexus One comes out next month, subsidized and The Incredible doesn't come out soon after, then I will get the Nexus One, as I'm growing impatient...

I also e-mailed my local VZW rep, and without directly asking about the Incredible and N1, I asked if they had anything similar to the HD2 and EVO in the pipeline for a release soon. I told her that I wanted something greater than 5 megapixels and with a 1 gig CPU. The response I received was this:

I would say, that you need to look at the new Droids that we now have. Motorola Droid- 5 megapixel camera, 16gig removable memory. HTC Droid- 5 megapixel camera, and 8gig removable memory. Check them out, let me know what you think.

I think I can make it alright with my BB 8830 for now. The phone resets itself and clears out all my phone and text history every other day or if its feeling great every 2 hours. I always end up with a cleared phone with a fresh new text from VZW thanking me for purchasing a BB 8830. I just sigh for a moment and then just pretend I got a brand new phone and go about my business.

I got info from a vz PR person once... I asked her my 6900 was going to get upgraded to wm 6.1. She confirmed it at a time when it was only rumor, but told me to be quiet about it.

This is the person who told me that the N1 would not be sold by google and that the "other phone" (incredible) is in testing and that some phones don't even pass out of that phase so she couldn't give me a date.

That was it. Vz is being very, very tight-lipped about all this and I don't think we're going to get anything out of them before they want to give it up to us.

It seems to go without saying that Reps, whether it's sales, customer, region have NO IDEA about either the N1 or the Incredible.

It's fairly obvious because almost everyone's reports are completely different.

VZW is working really close to HTC on this one, so unless you're able to get someone with a little more authority, it doesn't look like we'll be finding out.

Hopefully MM or someone else can shed some more light soon. I'm over my Envy2.

Perfect, now you and Akshun can play grab a$$ in another forum because we don't want ya.

BTW, isn't you posting a complaint about too many BS posts adding to the amount of BS posts making you a hypocrite? Put that in your crack pipe and smoke it.

lol this cracked me up! You tell em! ;)

Off topic, but what's the most posts or views a thread has had? I smell a world record.
And Verizon Wireless does nothing..........probably like one of the most talked about phones and they do absolutely nothing. If they want money, they better do something.

This is like a replay of when apple went to them with the first iPhone and the guy was like pffff what the hell is this crap, we don't need this, we need "coverage" blah blah blah. Look at his ass now, iPhone turned out to be the best selling device and stole a ton of customers from Verizon and crap.

VZW needs to fire some peeps

there are plenty of other names that start with an "e" that they can use. however, i think the eris was only disappointing to us, not the general public.

but, i hate eris 2, or droid 2 or whatever 2. come up with something different.
How about Erised? Desire backwards and will satisfy Harry Potter fans across the country.
