Root Recent app updates installs odex files

Browsing through my system/apps folder and I see that there is about 7 apps that have recently updated and when they did, the odex files for the apps were also installed.

Never had this happen before so why now? Apps work fine. Deleted the odex files and apps are still working okay but why did this happen?

Thinking back. I did something with an app that I can't mention here and it was those same apps. So whatever I did in that app is what installed the odex files.

With <some other illicit app> help or not doesnt Android install a 2nd version of system files whenever you update? I remember an app called app2rom that described something similar to what you described.....

Guys, please do not talk about warez and/or cracking apps. It's against the rules to discuss warez apps (including the apps that make legit apps into warez apps).
