Root updates pending but only boots into CWM

Newbie here to android. I rooted my phone and everything works good. However I keep getting this update, which looks to be pushed out by the carrier (boostmobile) or samsung. I have tried to install the update but the phone reboots into CWM and the update cant be installed once in CWM or I dont know how install it. Should I just ignore this since it is rooted...what are your thoughts?

kernel v. 2.6.35.7
build gingerbread.EG29
hardware M930.02

the general rule ive learned and read is dont allow cuz wont work or will lose root...new roms with updates are being made currently
