Galaxy S3 Watering Hole

My unbranded ( Samsung logo only ) back cover came today & I really like it !! For only $11.98 ( purchased on ebay ) & free shipping from Japan it was well worth it. I really like the non Verizon 4G LTE look. :thumbup:

Hope your doing well to my dear. Chillin' w/ my little one ( 6 year old daughter ). We had soccer practice this morning ( hot as h..l ), then lunch, quick stop by Best Buy, & then grocery store. Oh & I have daddy duty all week as darling bride left for Phoenix this morning. Dozing off as we speak...😴
 
So I'm at the beach with my nephew and decide to go out for a walk together. Checked WeatherBug and it says the thunderstorms will pass us by. 20 mins later we are running for cover. But my S3 survived. I was so worried. I lost my last digital camera to a sudden torrential downpour.

Got back and the Weather Bug alerts me to the oncoming storm. Gee thanks. ;)
 
Hiked to Crater Lake today. After a rainy start the sun came out and it made for a nice day.

This is at the trail head... Moffat tunnel is a 6.2 mile train tunnel that cuts through the rockies and the continental divide:

It was ~6 miles roundtrip for the hike. Starts @9020ft and climbs to 10593ft at the lake.

Gorgeous shots Trent! Haven't gone hiking in forever but loved all the time I spent in the Presidentials in NH. We hiked quite a bit of the AT (and some of it in NC later on).
Always dreamed of hiking the entire AT. Not sure if I'll ever get to it. A Walk In The Woods is one of my favorite books. Hilarious stuff. :)

I love hiking.. I lived in NC for a bit but was to busy to do any hiking.

I hope I never have to. No wildlife today.. typically don't see anything were we hiked today.
 
NC hiking was fun, but nothing like the above treeline stuff in NH. Mt. Lafeyette is probably my favorite of the bunch. Loved the ridgeline trail there. Nothing like ya guys got in CO, but still awesome.

Alright, I'll double post.
I hiked quite a bit with my dad when I was younger in the Appalachian's. We would stay in the huts which are based about a days' hike apart. Loved it. Greenleaf is just at the base of Lafeyette which I posted above. Gorgeous view and it had bunks that went ~4+ high. :eek:
Lake of the Clouds was at the base of Mt. Washington. It was a pretty cool hut and had a lot of thru hikers we saw. We've stayed at Zealand and Galehead. They're much smaller. Awesome group of people who came through. You were there for a night, but felt like a family by morning. Damn, now I want to go back! :)

Just be patient. Trust me, I thought this watering hole was dead as it started slowly, but eventually things just started rolling. I sent a few PM's out to the right folks & things took off from there. Not to mention my friend & guide Unforgiven ( & yes you kymberlin ), helped as well. So be patient & if it happens it happens. Good luck & feel free to hang w/ us for as long as you like.

No biggie, I used to be pupkact here at AF but changed my name. Other sites were screen scraping here and making it look like I was posting there too. Well, they probably still are, but with my current username I fall way down in the google search results.
