Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] n00b (B10 based) VIII.II FULL Install 1/23/2013

See post two for progress on iv, couple more loose ends to tie up but coming along

EDIT: I am going to break two of my own guidelines, I am going to give an ETA and am going to release a BETA instead of a fully tested release...

I plan on releasing n00b IV Beta today, release will include items listed in post 2 :)

I do have a couple bugs I am still working on hunting down, but they both don't seem to effect anything other than causing an occasional force close.
 
Ok, I have released this as a full release, I think it's bug free, I posted a new bloatware link with updated apks as well as a folder of some wallpapers I like. As usual pm me with any issues. Enjoy!

I found a little cosmetic issue:
"Clear" button at notification bar have text with same color of background, so you can not see it, not a big deal but this is a perfect rom:D
Not important enough to make a patch.

can anyone else confirm this? the volume control has extra steps now (finer control) so you need to hit up a lot more times than you used to to turn the volume all the way up... I am not sure what would make the volume lower than normal though other than it just being physically turned down.

I personally don't have this issue, anyone else?

yeah I know about that, I ported the swype to clear directly from jetx's rom, it's the same there and I hadn't got around to fixing that yet, since it's just cosmetic I wouldn't call it a bug, it's on my list though :)
 
You could replace the status bar background using ninjamorph but you would have to know your way around the apk and have a replacement image, what did you have in mind?
 
I was thinking lazers! Lol jk i juswanted to make it black background so im able tosee my incoming text messages :)
 
I deleted the folder u had on the desktop, and want it back. For the life of me I cannot. Usually using holo u just have to long press on the home screen and it is an option. But I don't see it anywhere?

Drag and drop any app shortcut onto another and it will create a group

If you are a developer you already ahead of the game. Post three shows how I got started but another piece of advice is to read a lot of threads and follow several roms, l learned a lot watching the progression of development for the warp since it came out last year and before that seeing work done on the thread for the galaxy prevail

As far as I know there are no lazers in the specs of the warp... Lol... Anyhew I can give you an update with the black background
